This three bedrooms apartment is truly exceptional in many ways - the location, the decor, the organization, the roof-top terrace, and the wonderful 360 degrees views of Paris and its monuments. From here you can see the whole Paris skyline panorama including Saint Gervais, the Hotel De Ville, the Tour St. Jacques, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pantheon, the Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre Cathedral, and the Georges Pompidou Center. Centrally located at 100 meters from Beaubourg museum and the Marais, it is close to everything with an easy walk to Les Halles.

This three bedroom and 2 bathrooms apartment (1,220 square feet, Sleeps 6) is spread across the top two floors of the building and has the added benefit of a large roof-top terrace with plenty of seating and room for outdoor entertaining. The apartment is organized such that the bedrooms and bathrooms are on one level and the main salon, dining area, and kitchen are on an upper level. From the upper level stairs lead to a wonderful large roof-top garden terrace.

The decor is contemporary-modern - achieved by a famous french Interior designer - with bright alternating pastel colors making a rainbow effect that is both light and cheerful. The large main salon has two sofas, easy chairs, and plenty of books and a large open floor space with room to dance. Equipment includes Cable TV with English channels, Stereo, and DSL - Wi-Fi Internet access.

There is a large dining table with six chairs on one side and a colorful corner kitchen area with many built-ins and direct views overlooking the plaza and fountains on the side of Beaubourg. Kitchen equipment includes a double wide under counter refrigerator with freezer hidden behind panels, a combo convection & microwave oven, dishwasher, and ceramic electric cook-top with exhaust hood.

The bedroom level has a Master bedroom with a Queen size bed. The Second bedroom has two single beds that can be put together to make a queen size bed. The third bedroom is organized as an office with desk and is a 'petit salon' separated by a curtain that when closed provides privacy. It has a trundle bed that can be opened to make two singles.

There are two full bathrooms on the same level as the bedrooms, each with a basin, walk-in shower, and toilet. Once bathroom has a clothes washer/dryer.

The building is completly secured with codes and Intercom.

  • Stayed here May 2008. Great place, clean, quiet, secure, good views from rooftop garden. Close to the river, the islands, the Marais. Grocery store within 1/2 block. Would stay again.

  • My husband, our two daughters, my mother and my sister had a wonderful 4 night stay here in May 2008. Everything about the apt. was outstanding. It's roomy, nicely-furnished and well-equipped (linens, dishes, cooking utensils, even laundry detergent)and was spotless. The location is wonderful, easy walking distance to many sites, several metro stations, grocery stores and many nearby cafes and restaurants. The rooftop terrace has awesome views of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur! Easy to reach and very responsive, friendly service from Henri at Private Paris. We would gladly stay here again - and recommend it highly.

  • This is a terrific place to stay in Paris. Plenty of space, and all the conveniences you'd want. But the two things that make this apartment really special are the fantastic terrace (a rarity in this city), and the location. Amazing, truly spectacular views, both from the terrace and inside. The owner is very congenial, too. I would definitely stay here again!

  • WE LOVED THIS APARTMENT!!! My friends, Mardi, Robin and myself stayed here the first week of May of 2008. The apartment, location and view were un-matched by any other apartment I have stayed in in Paris. The location, steps from the Hotel de Ville and the Pompideau Center, afforded us the chance to walk practically everywhere. The greatest photos of our trip are taken from the roofdeck of the sunsets in Paris!! The perfect kitchen was a delight to cook in - we actually hosted an early Mother's Day brunch for 6 friends on the roof deck!! Dozens of restaurants, pubs, a pharmacy and a grocery store were all located within a 3 minute walk. The elevator is a little claustrophobic - but a small price to pay!! Being a fellow VRBO homeowner (#116855) - and probably more picky than most - I can enthusiastically reccommend this Paris flat!!
