The complex sits next to the world famous Princeville Hotel – a great place to have an appetizer and watch the beautiful Kauai sunsets. The Princeville Hotel is set to re-open as St. Regis in October 2009. After opening guests will be able to stroll down to the hotel and enjoying dining in one of the new restaurants or getting pampered in the spa.
You can also walk to two beaches from the condo. Pu’u Poa Beach is a 3 minute walk from the condo just below the Princeville Hotel. Hideaways Beach is a short hike down a trail below the condo and has great snorkeling, kayaking and diving. An oceanfront swimming pool and tennis court is also on site of the Pu’u Poa complex. Why the Owner Chose Puu Poa
My husband and I were married at Kee Beach on the North Shore and visited the island several times after. We used to manage vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe and many of the owners also owned property in Kauai and asked if we would be interested in starting a business here - after a couple of years we finally made the move and have been blissfully happy every since. The island has so much natural beauty and outdoor activities yet is still doesn't have that 'big resort' feel. It is a great safe place for children and also make for a perfect honeymoon or anniversary destination.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
There are so many outdoor activities to enjoy here: going to the beach, surfing, stand up paddling, horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing, taking a boat charter along the Napali Coast, cayaking, camping, biking, etc..
I enjoy getting a spa treatment at the Anara Day Spa at the Hyatt - if you enjoy the spa the facial is perfect.
My husband and I met at culinary school and consider ourselves 'foodies'. There are some wonderful farmers markets here and fish markets with the fresh local catches of the day. Ahi is of course and island favorite and can be found at many of the restaurants throughout the island.
Whale watching is from December - April and is quite a site to see.
Some of the best golf courses in the US are located in Kauai.
We work with some activity providers that provide personalized hikes and activities that are 'off the beaten path' and truly show you what Kauai has to offer.
