Just returned from a wonderful week in this great condo. It was perfect for our needs -- a family gathering including a 4 year old, teenagers and the grandparents. This unit was ideal and well-suited for our various individual interests. The pools, lanai, grassy area, beach access were all so convenient and our days were completely stress-free. We walked along the beachwalk daily and enjoyed some of the restaurants at the neighboring resorts. Other nights we stayed in and cooked in the condo's well-equipped kitchen. Ko Olina is a lovely development; very family friendly. We will undoubtedly return to this "home away from home" in paradise. Mahalo, Lanelle, for making this process so easy, as well as your attentive and timely customer service throughout.

We have been to Honolulu a number of times, but this was our first visit to Ko Olina and we absolutely loved the resort and the beach villas. We traveled with a total of 4 adults and 2 children. The villa was very spacious and our kids (4 yrs & 22 mths old) especially loved the nearby lagoon and running around in the grassy lawn area just beyond our lanai. It was like having a giant backyard and it was comforting to know that the lawn area was secure. The unit was very kid-friendly, which made it the perfect place for us. Lanelle was a wonderful host and she was very helpful in answering any questions we had while planning our vacation. Our family would definitely stay here again and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Fantastic vacation - as advertised, and more!

Our three-generation family (including two boys - six and three) spent eight days in this beautiful, well-appointed, and well-maintained condo. We all loved the layout, particularly being on the ground floor with wide doors opening to a roomy patio, then lots of grass used by the boys to 'play' soccer and frisbee, and to take the scenic route to the beach, pools, hot tubs, or BBQ grills. The beach toys, snorkeling gear, mats, and chairs were much used and appreciated. When the three-year-old got tired on a walk, we were glad to have the umbrella stroller. The four lagoons, each with a fine beach, are beautiful and so accessible (in fact, the whole area is fairly low density, which is nice). Our six-year-old saw two turtles while lagoon snorkeling! We left the area only one day, a car trip to the North Shore. The owner was very helpful and prompt in answering questions a number of times. All of us are really jonesing to come again to this condo.

Our Favorite Villa

We have stayed in quite a few Ko Olina Beach Villas, visiting 1-2 times a year since 2009. This is our favorite. Great location ------------------- The Villa is on the ground floor of the Beach Tower, which is closer to the ocean than the Ocean Tower. It is very convenient being on the ground floor, because you can easily come and go from the pools and beach. The Villa lanai faces a lawn, with some water view to the side. Walk a few steps and you have a great "private" beach view. Although the lawn is shared with other Villas, there was rarely anyone walking past. There is a parking lot beyond the lawn, but we hardly noticed it because of landscaping which enhances privacy. Noise from the parking lot wasn't an issue. Very well-stocked with everything -------------------------------------------- The villa is very well-stocked - towels, beach toys, kitchen equipment, cleaning products, TVs, DVDs - everything we needed was there. Another nice feature is that all TV channels are listed on a laminated card, which is very handy. You can use fitness center ----------------------------------- You *will* have use of the fitness center and other member facilities, such as the bathrooms by the pool - unfortunately, not all Beach Villas offer access anymore. We used the fitness center all the time and it was great. Lanelle, the owner, is very professional and has obviously put a lot of thought and care into ensuring the Villa is presented to a very high standard. Thanks Lanelle!

We took all our kids and grandkids and stayed at the Ko Olina Beach Villas for Christmas and New Year's 2011....our son and daughter-in-law stayed in your condo with their 4 kids (son 4 yrs, twin girls 3 yrs and son 1 yr) and of course, their babysitter! It was perfect for all of them, especially the children! There is a hugh grass area which was gated, off of the lanai for the kids to run around and play when they weren't at the beach or pool. Plenty of beach toys....fun! My husband and I stayed in the condo across the hall from your condo with a few more of our kids....it was perfect! We also visited the new Disney Hotel and attended their character breakfast with Mickey and Minnie on Christmas Eve (make reservations!)....it was a blast! We also visited and played the Ko Olina Golf Course....another great day! I would highly recommend your condo and we look forward to visiting again!

This groundfloor beach villa was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. It opens to a grassy area for children and was easily accessible for us seniors. All we could ask for to provide for outstanding living accommodations was available in the villa and the interior decor was lovely. The bay and sunsets are spectacular! The owner was always available by email and telephone for local eating establishments, shopping and remained enamored in making our vacation the best possible. My highest regard and recommendation to the owner. This is an Island Dream location!

Wonderful - hoping to return

Our family had a wonderful time over the holidays. The unit was comfortable, quiet, convenient, and stocked with all the "family" things you need but are difficult to bring with you. Ko Olina exceeded my expectations with its lagoons (with turtles!), beachwalk, and quiet ambiance yet close to Costco, Target, Safeway, etc. Beach Villas are GREAT - my husband was in the gym everyday, the pool is very kid friendly, and the atmosphere relaxed. Roy's is a pleasant walk if you want a nice dinner, and the corner market and ice cream shop is a good diversion for the kids. The unit's owner was professional and a good business partner, accessible when we had minor questions. The transaction was fair, simple, no fuss/no muss. ONLY complaint is the wimpy dryer - don't expect to do do tons of laundry - but hey, you are on vacation, you would want to do that, anyway!

Owner response:I fully agree with the wimpy dryer complaint! Unfortunately, the Bosch dryers came with the villa and ALL of the villas here have the same dryer. It is still capable of doing small loads. Best to allow for time and patience!

We found Lanelle's villa to be outstanding. We were very impressed with the level of detail she has applied as she has thought of everything her guests may need during their stay. In addition, Lanelle was always extremely prompt in replies to each and every question we had. Our group consisted of 3 generations with the youngest being 8 months and 2 1/2 years old. Having baby items (crib, pack and play, hi chair, baby monitor, books, toys, etc) was a huge help. Having the lanai and lawn on ground level provided quite a homey feel, greatly increasing the living space of the villa. My little granddaughter loved watering the plants with the toy watering can. The resort is a great place for families with small children. The lagoons provide the beach experience for little ones with less concern of strong waves. There are pools to please everyone. The cleanlines of the resort is exceptional. I even saw a staff person dusting the fence railing! I can say without reservation that Lanelle will go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. My family and I would not hestitate to recommend her villa as your home away from home. You will not be disappointed!

great for families!

This condo is great for families with young children. Grass area off lanai was perfect for my daughters, ages 3 & 5, to play on. The condo had EVERYTHING... toys, boogie boards, chairs, lots of baby stuff, etc. There are two pools, one is adult only. The lagoon pool is great for kids. There is a sandy bottom part that is only 1 foot and the rest of the pool is 3 or 4 feet deep. We enjoyed cooking dinner at the bbq's while the kids played in the pool. The lagoon are also fun for snorkeling and because there are no waves the kids had a blast. We saw lots of fish and a sea turtle. Lanelle was great and always responded quickly to any questions we had before and during our trip. This condo was a much better option for us than a hotel. There is a upscale ABC store called Country Store within walking distance that was great for groceries and souvenirs. We all had a great time!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Lanelle's awesome beach villa. The villa was even nicer in person as compared to the pictures and was packed with everything we needed for our 3 year old and us to enjoy the incredible property. Being on the ground floor was a great bonus as it allowed us to easily step outside and play with our child. I also can't say enough about how wonderful the Ko Olina Beach Villa property is. All the facilities are simply beautiful. We had a blast hanging out by the pool and the beach. One of the nicest parts was that the place was very quiet, but if you are looking for more action, you can just walk over to the JW Marriott. Lanelle is a great owner who always responded promptly to my inquiries. I hope to stay here again ASAP!

Lanelle was an amazing host. She stocked up the whole condo with everything a family could ever need or think of. She was a lifesaver in having cribs and highchairs, and lots and lots of toys. She also had every high end and new appliance, including awesome Vitamax blender. The Beach resort is amazing. It was so nice to be able to either walk outside the lanai and either go to the beach or pool. And the privacy vs anything closer to the pool, was great. We will be back next year, or sooner if I could convince my husband to take another vacation this year.

I spent numerous hours until I found this place. Because no matter how hard you try to find the perfect place something always turns out to be wrong. Well not with Lanelle's condo. The reason why I rented Lanelle's villa is because this was our first trip with our 21 months old daughter and we wanted to make sure we have peace of mind what accomodation we are getting. Unlike with hotel rooms or other condos you may see pictures of beautiful accomodation but end up with something else. Her villa was exactly like described and much more. Huge convenience for us was to have all right stuff in the villa for our use - we felt like it was our second home. I never even dreamed of having all baby stuff available :crib, strooler, high chair and baby monitor. We also had grandma with us and she enjoyed the thrid bedroom with her own bathroom too. Being on the ground level is great advantage and our daughter loved to play outside on the grass. The resort is beautiful and the pools are amazing. Our daughter liked the kiddy pool and the fish in the little creek surronding the pool areas. Lagoon is ideal for swimming and great to snorkle. We walked arounds all lagoons a lot and all were beautiful. There is also convenience store nearby with very reasonable prices (for Hawaii anyway) where you can get all food, drinks and even great souveneers. We did couple of day trips too but after few days we just simply preferred staying in the resort surroundings and relax. It was great vacation and I hope we can come back soon. Lanelle is very professional to work with and replied to all of our questions promptly. Thank you for great vacation.

Best Family Vacation Ever!

Wow! This was the most amazing family vacation ever! The accommodations were actually better than the photos provided and the owner down-played "fully-stocked". She provided everything you could ever need on your vacation! Unfortunately, we packed everything and discovered upon our arrival that the hallway closet was packed with great beach and snorkeling gear! That's just the beginning. This place is perfect for families, she even provides a crib, high chair and stroller (not that we needed any of those things, but they're available). We cooked almost all of our meals and enjoyed the grounds, pool, lagoon and just sitting at rental. There is so much to see and so much to do. The owner was over-the-top helpful in providing traveling tips! The place was cozy and worked amazingly well for our family of 6 (5 adults and one 4 1/2 year old). Be sure to check with the owner before packing a million things! There is also a great path for walking or running in the morning! Enjoy your trip! Book this place! I know we'll be back very soon!!!!

Wonderful vacation home for the whole family. The snorkling, swimming, walking, sunning and sightseeing is superb. We have not vacationed on Oahu for many years but decided to bring our whole family for a week. It was the perfect spot for our grandkids. We all loved it and the owner, Lanelle, could not be nicer.

My review is long overdue but well worth doing as we loved our stay at this condo. Lanelle was a very gracious hostess and has a beautiful condo that is well stocked with beach toys, books, music, movies, spices, ... pretty much anything and everything we desired while in Ko'olina. We spent 8 days here with our 20 month old twins and found this to be the perfect getaway--our kiddos loved playing outside and we loved relaxing with a glass of wine while they ran all around the yard chasing the birds and watching the people as they walked to the beach. The beach was perfect as were the swimming pools and outdoor showers. We also enjoyed the workout facilities, the grills, and the kitchen. Our only complaint was that the king bed in the master bedroom was a bit hard; otherwise, everything was perfect and, hard bed and all, we will definitely be back as everyone had a wonderful time. Mahalo Lanelle!

We have family on Oahu and Ko Olina is definitely the place we want to stay when we visit. This is an ideal environment to get away from the hustle and bustle of the typical tourist areas. This master plan development is so well designed that you could relax around the Beach Villa and not leave the area. There's a great trail around the lagoons for walking or jogging. The pools are exceptional and the gym is very clean and well equipped. This condo is tastefully appointed and well stocked with amenities. With its top notch Roy Yamaguchi designed kitchen, we ate in quite a number of times just to enjoy the lanai and the kitchen area. Since this unit on the ground floor, our 2 year old was able to run around the grass and burn off all that excess energy. If you plan on playing golf, the staff at the Villa will even take you to the club house. Not only is the place breathtaking, working with Lanelle was exceptional. She is very responsive to inquiries and professional to work with. She will walk you through the whole process of renting the place. We will definitely look her up on our next visit.

This villa is nothing short of SPECTACULAR! The views are magnificent, the front lawns a great addition of space to the unit, and the villa itself is exceptional. Lanelle has ensured that all the comforts of home await her guests at her paradise in Ko'Olina. Our stay was nothing short of magnificent (and that's after a gruelling 30 hour flight) and we will definitely be back, and are recommending this listing to anyone and everyone we know interested in visiting Hawaii.

The condo and location where everything we expected and more. The condo was very nicely furnished with upscale decorations and top of the line appliances. The split bedroom layout easily accommodated our group of three adults and 1 child. With the ground floor location and spacious accommodations larger groups could be easily accommodated. The Beach Villas at Ko Olina was a restful repose from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and Waikiki. The beach and lagoons were almost vacant which added to the air of relaxation. In addition the Beach Villas had a very nice gym with extensive cardiovascular and strength training equipment. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a restful, luxurious, and peaceful vacation.

Wow... This place is just paradise. We just love this place!!! Once you are in here you don't have to and don't want to go anywhere else. The private beach (where you can snorkle with the kids) is safe and two swimming pools were so beautiful. Especially it's perfect for families with young kids. This villa is clean and luxury and has everything you need at home. The owner was so kind nice to explain everything we needed to know. She was a great help. I would definitely like to go back to this villa again if I have the chance. You won't regret staying here.

If you love Hawaii, the water, beautiful scenery, luxury away from hustle and bustle....this villa is all that and more. It is a place that feels like home, but in paradise. No one wanted to leave, but we will definitely return!
