This is no exaggeration! The views from this mountain chalet are stunning. You can ski or visit the many excellent restaurants and shops in town; after all they're only five minutes away. Also, we are on the free shuttle route. The stop is just steps away.
Then again you may choose to never leave the house. If the weather allows, sit out on the deck, or sit in the great room and admire the same view from in front of the cozy fire. Cook an amazing meal in the gourmet kitchen, we'll even stock it with groceries at your request. Then enjoy your meal at the dining table which seats ten to twelve comfortably and has an amazing view from every seat. Of course, there's always the outdoor hot tub to relax in afterward.
The great room, kitchen, and game room are all perfect for coming together as a group, but at the end of the day you can retreat to your own room. Each bedroom has its own bath, comfortable mattress, down comforters, and all the luxuries you'd find in the best hotels.
Every room of this 5000 square foot home is beautifully and comfortably decorated. Gather for movies in front of the big screen TV, play foosball in the game room, or just stare at the scenery. You'll stay comfy and warm with radiant in-floor heat throughout the house.
If you're looking for privacy, it's guaranteed in this exclusive neighborhood.
"MontClaire Chalet" is the perfect setting. Whether it's for a family reunion, a relaxing vacation or the intimate wedding of your dreams, we'll make it unique and wonderful.
We offer complete wedding and event planning.
Enjoying the fire and the amazing view
VRBO Bear stayed here - 06/04/2009 This house has an ideal location in Breckenridge and offers one of the best views of the mountains. It is minutes from the ski slopes and Main Street, yet it feels private and secluded. A bear needs to feel at home in the wilderness. When you stay here, you experience the best of both worlds. My friends and I could not have found a better place to spend the weekend!
I packed the golf clubs and spent a day out on the course. After a day of golfing, it was time to soak my bear bones in the private hot tub. I put on my favorite tunes and listened to the music through the great outdoor speakers while I took in the amazing view. At night, the stars seemed to go on forever and ever.
A big breakfast for a bear is a must. This kitchen was perfect for my large appetite. With a double oven and 5-burner cook top, meals were a breeze. The huge kitchen table near the big bay window makes you feel like you’re sitting right on the edge of the mountain. I wanted to spend all morning enjoying the sun-splashed, snow-capped mountains. The house has an endless amount of windows, all providing great views of the huge Rocky Mountain peaks.
I spent a warm afternoon on the deck and spotted a red fox hunting on the hillside. A late afternoon rain shower gave me a chance to enjoy the cracking fire in the great room while I watched a storm roll in over the mountain side.
This home is absolutely spectacular. You will not be disappointed when you stay here. It just doesn’t get better than this!

Why the Owner Chose Overlook
We bought this house in Breckenridge to start hosting Weddings and this house had the perfect size and location for that. The views are absolutely stunning for a bride and groom to get married on the outside deck looking over the town of Breckenridge.
Owner's Map of Overlook
Me and my family are all born and raised in Colorado and we always wanted a Chalet in Breckenridge. The town has so much to offer a great mountain feel. The skiing is the best in the country and has a great family feel to the resort.
