This simple yet luxurious house - remodeled in 2007 - is situated on five private acres surrounded by expansive green lawns, lush plantings, and gorgeous, panoramic mountain views. Romantic and secluded, it is perfect for one couple or a couple with children.

The house has a very open, airy feeling with vaulted ceilings, numerous French doors and stunning views from every window. The house includes: A large great room with gourmet kitchen, which makes for a comfortable living and dining area; master bedroom, with king-size bed plus comfortable couch/daybed; and master bathroom, with two sinks and double shower for two. There also is a beautiful Hawaiian-style outdoor shower. House is quite spacious - more than 1500 square feet. Up to 2 children can sleep on futons (provided) in the main living area. Amenities include cable TV with DVD, i-Pod ready CD/stereo, high-speed wireless Internet, and a lanai with gas barbecue and dining table.

Breathtakingly beautiful and very private, yet less than 10 minutes from Kilauea town and beaches. Close-by Anini beach is one of the longest and safest on Kauai for swimming: wind surf, kayak, sail, or just swim. Anini has a large Beach park and on Sundays there is usually a Polo match. Just 15 minutes from the world famous Hanalei Bay and Princeville Resort, where you will find the 27 hole Makai Golf Course, the world class Prince Golf Course, and the Princeville Shopping Center. There are two Horse Riding Stables very near by, and the North Shore boasts many hiking trails.

  • This home is wonderful; its serene location and exquisite design are the perfect setting for the islands. A stocked kitchen enables great meals at home or head north or south for great restaurants. But you don't have to walk further than the gardens in the yard to enjoy all the beauty of Hawaii.

  • WOW...what an incredible home! My husband and I and our two teenage kids stayed at the Stigler home for 12 days. The grounds are spectacular. The house has this incredible sense of peace right when you walk through the door. The pictures on the internet do not do it justice.   • The pictures on the internet don't do justice to this fabulous house. Other than the noise from the construction next door during the day, this is the most private, quiet and beautiful place we've stayed in five trips to Kauai. The outdoor shower was so great we never even used the one indoors. We ate every meal outside on the lanai. In the morning we often got to see rainbows against the mountain as we ate breakfast. Hope to return again.

  • The house was absolutely wonderful and perfect for us! The yard and surrounding mountains are amazing, I could sit on the deck all day and just look at the beautiful scenery. The guest house worked great for us two couples. The Debuffs stayed in the guest house and they absolutely LOVED the outdoor shower. My husband and I stayed in the main house and of course were very comfortable. The sunrises from the bed in the mornings were beautiful. We made great use of your kitchen. We would make breakfast every morning and then Mike (our resident chef) would cook us up wonderful meals at night, mmm mmm good! Most days we were exploring the island and would eat lunch at some local grind. We were in full "Hang Loose" mode all week, it was great. We are extremely grateful for letting us make your home our "home away from home".

  • This house was spectacular! It was a few miles off the main highway, so while it was close to great beaches, restaurants and hiking, we were also able to get away from the crowds easily. The setting was gorgeous, and the house was beautifully decorated and had all modern amenities (washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, barbecue--everything we wanted), which made staying there easy and a pleasure.

  • My husband and I just returned from this beautiful home (Jan 09). We have been to Hawaii numerous times and have stayed in some of the best hotels, including the Grand Wailea and Ritz Carlton (now the Four Seasons), but this was the best trip and best lodging we have enjoyed in Hawaii. The house is beautiful, private and immaculate. It has a wonderfully well-equipped gourmet kitchen which we enjoyed using. I also like the combination of being close to town, yet far enough away to feel very relaxed. I can't recommend it highly enough.
