If your idea of a Beach vacation includes streets that are empty even on summer weekends, and more rabbits and birds than vacationers going by as you enjoy the evening breezes, then this is the Cape May house you're looking for. Only a block to the Beach, and the kids can come and go by themselves because it's the only neighborhood in Cape May where you don't even have to cross a street to get on the Beach.
Enjoy quiet elegance in this two-floor townhouse style (half of a duplex) home in a neighborhood that's mostly big new second homes. This house has a comfortable and modern floor plan, fully carpeted, with large, bright rooms, and central air conditioning. The second-floor includes a master suite with sliding glass door to a private rear deck, and a private bath with shower and jacuzzi. There's three more bedrooms and two additional full baths on the second-floor as well. The first floor has a big Living Room with wet bar and an adjoining enclosed deck for bug-free "outdoor" lunches or that quiet evening "read". The large Dining Room seats 10, and there's a full modern kitchen with breakfast table, and first-floor powder-room.
Outside you'll have a private fenced back-yard, and driveway that parks three cars, with nothing across the street but seashore meadows, and a nice view of the Ocean from the second-floor deck in back. Just a couple of blocks away you can play miniature golf, rent a bike for exploring the Victorian streets of Cape May, or walk to dinner at a couple of the best restaurants to be found anywhere on the Jersey Shore.
