This cozy cabin sits secluded on top of a mountain boasting breathtaking views. You can entertain and grill on the large back deck. You can snuggle up to the wood burning fire on those chilly nights or when returning home from your ski adventure.
The upstairs has an open floor-plan with a formal dining space. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave. There is cable T.V. in all the bedrooms along with a DVD/VCR player.
The cabin is minutes to all the major ski resorts in the area along with some great fishing, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, superb dining and shopping. The cabin sleeps 6 adults comfortably and there are extra mattresses for the kids if needed. The community features maid service, tennis courts, hiking trails, a swimming pool and a clubhouse for all your needs.

Hey Neighbor.. thank you so much for letting us experience the Mill Ridge Community from the top. I could not have asked for a better view...every am my mind goes back to my first cup of coffee on the deck and taking in that chilly mountain air. Our first stop on Xmas eve was to pick out a tree at Big Ridge Tree Farm. The kids and adults had a great time in the petting zoo area at the tree farm. We had a wonderful Xmas with our four youngest at the cabin. My oldest son, his girlfriend and her family stayed at our place in Mill Ridge. We celebrated my sons 35th birthday on Dec 24th at Jackolopes View...Awesome! The children did some night skiing at Sugar and day skiing at Beech. We also had dinner at one of our favorite restaurant Arco Iris (Mexican) in Boone. We got to check out the first vineyard in our county...Grandfather Vineyard and Winery just before they closed on Xmas eve. We also forced ourselves to another vineyard,,,Banner Elk Winery. No trip would be complete without the following...sledding at Beech Mountain, Brick Oven Pizza Restaurant and hot chocolate. Let me not forget Linville Falls a must see! Thank you Steve for all you help...we will be back someday...let me know if there's anything we can do for you...we plan to visit again in the spring...Thanks again Alexandra and family

My husband, myself, and our two kids (2 and 6) just spent a weekend in this beautiful cabin. We were very pleased. My husband and I loved the views, the decks, and the well equipped kitchen. My kids loved all the toys that were there to play with. The location also couldn't have been better. We climed a mountain through a beautiful little community and there was our cabin, nestled right at the top away from the other cabins. The only things in our view were the beautiful mountains, trees, and flowers. We were also very close to Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, Mast General Store, and plenty of grocery stores and resturaunts. The best thing of all though had to be the amazing price. We were able to get this cabin for two nights and it cost what one single night would cost at any other hotel. We are definitely excited about going back in the winter!

Although I have stayed here many times through the different seasons, this is the first time to leave a review. The mountains bring a peace and serenity that has been so welcome. What a beautiful part of the country and the cabin provides just the place to rejuvinate. I commend you on the cleanliness and having everything needed to call this our temporary "home". Our next vist will be Christmas.
