We really enjoyed our week here and can't wait to go back. The unit is very large and comfortable and has everything you need. The jacuzzi on the deck is great and we loved having a view of the pool and ocean. The zero entry pool was perfect for our toddler. The beach has a man-made reef of sorts around it which makes it very calm for wading too. We enjoyed being within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Puerto Aventuras is a great location close to many area attractions (Tulum, Xel-Ha, Xcaret, Playa del Carmen, ferry to Cozumel, etc.) We very much enjoyed the quiet atmosphere - most days there were only a few other people around the pool and a handful on the beach - while the evenings had some nightlife if you wanted it at the bars/restaurants nearby. The booking process was simple and the owner was very prompt at responding to questions prior to booking and travel. It was perfect. Wish we were still there.

This condo property is very well-kept and secure. My husband, self, 2-yr old and in-laws stayed here for 10 days and had a wonderful time. The pool and beach is perfect for children of any age. This was our first time to PA (and my 15th time to Mexico), and we absolutely fell in love. Audra was absolutely wonderful to work with and helped with our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Audra and Blue Caribbean!

Huge condo - very comfortable, had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay immensely. Haivng the Omni next door is great - swim up bar! Clean beach with great sand. Very close to everything - ruins, dolphin swimming, cave tubing - you name it! Very much so a safe, family place. Highly recommend :)

We greatly enjoyed our time at Villa Del Mar! Highly recommend! Audra, owner, is fantastic at giving lots of information, being patient with questions and responding quickly - thanks Audra! Easy to find - we rented a car and felt safe and found our way around no problem. Very quiet (we were there off season, though!) ... not where you would want to go if you're looking for a happening bar/night life). Pretty, beautiful views from patio of ocean. Huge pool with excellent accommodations next door at Omni hotel. Enjoyed everything about our visit.

Just returned from a week vacation with my husband, and 3 children, ages 12 to 18. Before we even arrived, we were pleased with the booking experience. Great communication, lots of info from Audra. Can't say enough about the condo, spacious, clean, beautiful view. The pictures on this site really don't do it justice. OK, it's the little things with us, I brought hangers because there are never hangers when we go on vacation, this condo had more than enough, didn't need to use our own. Nice beach towels also. Having the very nice cleaning ladies twice while we were there was a bonus, we got a kick out of the towel art. Nice to have a large water jug in the kitchen, replaced whenever we requested. The complex is very nice, beautiful well kept grounds, the pool is huge! There was always plenty of shade and chairs. We really liked that security recognized us as new our first day and asked what condo we were in, Jose, very sweet. The second day he knew all of us and what condo, that really did make us feel safe. Truly felt safer here than Florida, :) Two minute walk to the Marina, felt like a movie set, so pretty. We are really going to miss our lovely and relaxing outdoor dinners. Betty at Blue Caribbean is awesome! She helped us arrange transportation to Tulum, Yal-ku lagoon and then a nice restaurant in Akumal on the beach. We were fortunate enough to have her join us, (our choice) and she and David (owner of the transportation company) were informative, kind and fun. We learned so much more about the area by spending time with both of them, feel like we have friends for life. Wish we would have met them the first day, would have used them for more transportaion. We are looking forward to returning, would definately stay here again.

Audra - Just wanted to let you know that we had the most fabulous vacation in Puerto Aventuras. Your condo was absolute perfection and I truly believe that Villa del Mar is the best complex in the area. Everything was exactly as you had described and everything we needed was available. (only thing we would add would be a barbecue and a broom) The cleaning service and Blue Caribbean were great. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your vacation home. I hope that we can work something out again in the future.

Dear Audra, We had such a wonderful stay at D204 that, as you know, we plan to return next year! The condo is light and airy, with all the "amenities"- tv (where we watched the Olympics) -dvd, stereo, a good kitchen, with a first-rate blender for making margaritas! The Villa del Mar staff is very attentive. We left the lights on in our rented car and wound up with a dead battery. A handyman quickly arranged to give us a jump!Villa del Mar has the deepest white sand beach in Puerto, and the pool is great for long laps. It's a 3-minute walk to "downtown" where a row of restaurants overlook a marina where dolphins swim and leap. Sam loved the all-you-can-eat ribs at Café Olé (which has good live music). For a fun "fix" of a crowded, dusty Mexican town, we went to Playa del Carmen and strolled 5th Ave. Favorites: a non-touristy jewelry store, "Idie"; the organic Mexican restaurant "Natural".I joined the gym at the Omni Hotel next to Villa del Mar (690 pesos, $60 for a month) which entitles you to pilates, stretch, cadio, spinning, use of the gym and 15% off food at the Omni (lively pool bar with sushi and nacho menu. Avoid the expensive mediocre restaurant)We enjoyed the Mayan ruin, Coba (less gentrified than Tulum). Also the Wednesday and Saturday farmers market at Akumal and breakfast at Turtle Bay. We meant to go to a cenote - but as the days went by, we became beach bums. Maybe next year.

We had a fantastic time during are stay in D204. The condo is amazing...very roomy, has all the amenities, and the ocean view is spectacular. Our boys (ages 3 and 5) loved the zero-entry pool and beach. How wonderful to be able to let the boys play in the shallow, wave-free beach area without having to worry. This, by far, our most relaxing, stress-free family trip to Mexico. We would love to make this an annual trip!

Villa Del Mar is THE BEST place to stay! Our children loved the beach, marina and pools. We felt so safe. It's like having your own private paradise. The beach is not crowded and is very clean. The snorkling is always good because there are small waves, unlike most other beaches in and around Playa. My husband and I went SCUBA diving with a group from the Omni. It was one of the most diverse dives we've enjoyed. We saw eel, sea turtle, baracuda, lobster, crab, and every fish you could imagine. The 5 minute boat ride was especially nice! The condo is very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed watching several movies from the DVD collection. My husband even found a book to read! Thanks for a great spring break!

We spent our week in Puerto Aventuras deep sea fishing, snorkeling, ATV touring, visiting ruins, participating in Dolphin Discovery, shopping, beaching and eating. Puerto Aventuras has the perfect mix of people, restaurants, and things to do. The people in Puerto were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed these activites all while staying in this extremely beautiful and comfortable condo. We had a great vacation and a fantastic time!

We were very pleased with this condo. The condo was beautiful with a great view. I read in other comments that the pictures do not do it justice and I found myself thinking this myself. The grounds are kept so nice and clean. The staff at the condo worked so hard to keep everything looking so nice. Our family felt very safe and this was very important as it was our first visit to Mexico. A good value I thought.

What a perfect place to land in Mexico and get acclimated to our new surroundings. We took the Public Colletivo van to Playa del Carmen to shop for food and then took a taxi home with our groceries. We made dinner in the condo on Christmas Day after shopping at Soriana's and were pleased to have the right dishes and many spices available to cook with. Rosa, the manager and other staff at Blue Carribbean, and Jose, the security were both gracious and helpful to us. We so enjoyed beginning our special birthday celebration trip at Villa del Mar D-204, what a view!. I fell in love with the dolphins near the marina, we went to visit them each day we were there. It was refreshingly quiet compared to other places we saw, we enjoyed listening to the ocean and the pool is beautiful. We hope we can come stay again at Villa del Mar and bring our family next time.

Villa Del Mar is the BEST property located in Puerto Aventuras. It's ideal location is within walking distance of everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The complex is quiet, well taken care of, and has very helpful staff. The beach/ocean view from D-204 is truly amazing. The interior of the condo is also exceptional, the pictures online really do not do the condo justice. Everything about the condo, and property exceeded our expectations! Staying at Villa Del Mar was our best experience yet in Mexico. We've travelled there several times, and this trip was by far the most enjoyable. I relate our enjoyable experience to the condo, property, and overall feeling of security in Puerto Aventuras. I definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for some relaxation. Thank you Scott and Audra for sharing your condo with us!!

My family of 4 just returned from a week at this beautiful condo in Puerto Aventuras (March 9-16, 2008). PA was a beautiful, quieter area, just what we were hoping for during spring break in Mexico! Staying in this condo made the week very special! It is so spacious, well laid out, tastefully decorated and comfortable! The awesome views of the ocean, pool and the beautiful grounds are spectacular! We definitely hope to stay at Villa del Mar in D-204 again on a future trip to Mexico!

I absolutely love Villa Del Mar. This is my second time staying in the complex. This condo is very nice. The furnishings and decor are wonderful. The condo complex and this unit are immaculate. This place has all the comforts and space of home at a great price. I think this is the best beach in all of the Mayan Riviera. The sand is like flour and the water is calm and the perfect blue. The owner was wonderful to deal with. You can't go wrong with this condo. I wish I was there right now.

Villa del Mar was definitely the perfect place for our vacation! It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The beach was gorgeous and uncrowded. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The jacuzzi tub on the terrace was wonderful! We will definitely return next year.

We returned from a wonderful week and stayed in this condo. Believe me when I say the grounds and lodging are the nicest in the ares. The pool is wonderful and you are mere steps from the beach and tons of restaurants. It's very quiet and quaint here. We loved it and will definetly return!

This condo has been recently purchased by us and it is ready to rent. Beautiful setting, beach, and glorious white sand. The condo is beautifully decorated and upgraded with pillowtop mattresses for our guest's comfort. Also, there are DVD's for viewing, boogie boards for our guests to use, and an I-Pod docking station with speakers. There are amazing views from the terrace of the pool and ocean. A jacuzzi tub and eating area are also featured on the terrace. We are very confident that of our guests enjoy Puerto Aventuras and our condo as much as we do!
