Featured in the Atlanta Journal in March '08, the naturally bright inside looks like the sleekest NY high rise you've ever seen. The four outside patios and 30' long balcony makes you think you're in Italy. Most rooms have floor to ceiling glass. The dark wood floors were refinished in December 2007 and bedrooms carpeted in Jan. 08.
Located behind a 1920's Italian Mansion (it's under renovation) five condos of Contemporary Italian architecture were built in the early '80's. Renovated in 06-07, my home is filled with art and one-of-a kind light fixtures, custom-designed by celebrated artist, Granite. With 3,000 square feet, there is a lot of room for relaxing and entertaining.
The great room features a fireplace, grand piano, Italian black leather couches and a swing. There is also a den filled with Howard Finster folk art, Bang and Olufson stereo and a new Flat Screened TV. The kitchen was remodeled in 2007 and has granite counters and a breakfast bar overlooking woods. The dining room easily seats 8 and is 17 feet long with a balcony and antique furniture. The master is 24x14 and opens onto its own patio with high rise views of the new Ritz Carlton. The master bath has a jetted tub, shower, granite and and dual glass bowl sinks. The guest bedroom is 17x14 with lovely wooded views. It's bath has a tub/shower combo and natural light. If you don't like stairs, this is not your kind of place.

- Twin/Single Bed (3) : A quiet room w/ patio near the front entry has 2 twins.The leather couch in the greatroom is designed to be use as a single bed as well but isn't very private.
- Convertible Bed: A brown ultrasuede couch in the den conceals a full sized pull out bed. BUt just sleeping on the couch may be more comfy.

- Deck/Patio: I have 4 patios that are from 10 to 16 feet wide and 8 to 18 feet deep.All have teak furniture for sitting and tables for dining.2 are at ground level, 1 is near the kitchen and one is very private, off of the master bedroom. From here, you can see the new Ritz Carlton on Peachtree, the moon and stars.

The home was selected for it's great location, inherent open architecture, and the unlimited possibilities for creating a fun atmosphere.Carol's sense of whimsy and love of travel, cultures, gardening and people is evident in every corner of this unique home. As a realtor for 15 years, Carol has walked through literally thousands of properties. She was not looking to buy when she first walked into this property with a client. Within weeks, she was moving in and invited an artist to work in residence creating the light fixtures/installations and overseeing the placement of most of the art still in place today.
