We have completed extensive remodeling to our Phoenix condo. The living room, dining area, and kitchen were all remodeled in the fall of 2008, and the lower bedrooms and bathrooms were finished in the Spring 2010.
The Phoenix condos overall had exterior renovations in the Summer of 2011. The unit now has all new windows and locks, and two air conditioners for the summer months.
We have a very spacious four bedroom, four bath condominium with an ideal location right across the street from the Silver Bullet Gondola and the Children's center on the mountain. Only 100 steps gets you to the slopes! After a cold winter day, relax in one of two hot tubs or go for a swim in the outdoor heated year-round pool. The clubhouse has additional amenities including a work-out room, sauna, and free private shuttle to take you downtown for shopping and dining. We also have high speed internet access in the unit and in the clubhouse.
Our two-level condo is nicely decorated with high beamed ceilings and a brand new stone fireplace that are perfect for your mountain stay.
The family room, kitchen and dining room are all located on the main floor along with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upstairs you'll find two more bedrooms and two baths and a small loft which overlooks the main floor. Beds downstairs: 1 King, 1 Queen. Beds upstairs: 1 Queen and 3 Twin Bunks. The couch downstairs converts to a bed if needed.

Why the Owner Chose The Phoenix
Steamboat has so much to offer all year round. The skiing in the fresh champagne powder can't be beat, but the warmer temperatures bring so many more fun outdoor activities like hiking, biking, tubing and more. We love the special activities like the annual wine festival, 4th of July parade, rodeos, and cattle drive (right on Main Street!). Steamboat has found a way to combine the small western town feel with all the luxuries you desire on a vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The location of our condo is absolutely ideal. We are steps away from the gondola base which enables our guests to go back and forth during the day without losing any time. We are also right on the free city bus route which makes trips to downtown as easy as can be. We are up on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Phoenix condos, and have beautiful views of the mountains from all of the bedrooms.

Our family has recently relocated to southern California, but we will still be planning special getaways to our favorite place, Steamboat Springs. We would love to share our home away from home with you. We purchased the property in December 2007 and have spent many weekends in the off-seasons doing a complete remodel. This Phoenix condo was clean and comfortable. The owner had updated it in the past couple years so cabinetry and countertops in kitchen and baths were nice. It offered 2 separate floors which was helpful with our family of 6 to spread out. The on-line pictures accurately illustrated the condo. The owner was extremely helpful and patient with my never-ending inquiries, prior to even reserving the property. We called the owner's local contact, checking if we could get in a couple hours early on check-in day and he was very nice. Office was very helpful too. The walk to slopes was easy and close. We highly recommend this unit for families and groups. It sleeps 12 easily and has a pull-out couch too.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children.
