THE CABIN: You'll find the Reunion House stylishly appointed and fully equipped with high quality amenities and furnishings. This unique retreat invites you into a light and open gallery with multiple second story windows overlooking the living room and dining area. An open floor plan features a central fireplace, leather sofas, wood floors, and Kilim rugs. The walls are lined with sepia toned photographs of historic Old Tahoe and surround a large mahogany dining room table. The contemporary kitchen has richly painted walls, stainless steel counter tops and slate flooring. Bedrooms lead to the back deck and secluded spa.
IN WINTER: Just minutes from Squaw Valley USA, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, and Homewood Mountain Resort (owned by Alpine Meadows), plus cross country skiing and snowshoeing in Sugar Pine Point State Park just a couple of minutes away. While the west shore is peaceful and has the charm of Old Tahoe, amenities such as bistros and fine dining, super markets, recreational sports and clothing stores are all just minutes away in Tahoe City.

Review of Tahoe Unique Retreats Reunion House Sophster Santa Clara, CA. Date Submitted: December 25, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2008 We just got back from the Reunion House and loved it. We brought my 6 year old son and our labrador retriever. We enjoyed our home away from home. It snowed a ton while we were there. My husband and son enjoyed a dip in the hot tub after a day of skiing. Dominique was very helpful and informative before, during, and after our trip. Thanks again for letting us use your wonderful home.

Very Convenient Place to Stay Kory Long Beach, Mississippi, USA. Date Submitted: January 12, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009 The home was just right. Close to Homewood skiing without all of the touristy stuff. The views are magnificent and Emerald Bay is a short drive south. The house was functional and provided the kids with a nice play area in the yard.

My friends and I decided to try a rental property for our annual ski/snowboard trip this year instead of the regular hotel rooms. Based on the amazing experience at the Reunion House, it will be hard going back to hotels. The house is fully equiped with all the necessary amenities that one would need in a home. few of the nights were able to leverage the Calphalon pots and pans for cooking. The Hot Tub was icing on the cake; we were able to enjoy it very much after a long day of skiing and riding. Last but not least, Dominique (owner) went above and beyond providing tips and information about local events and mountains to visit. In all, this has been a memorable moment for all of us and will gladly recommend the Reunion House to all my friends. (As long as my friends and I don't have conflicting booking dates :-) )

Dominique, Alan and I can't thank you enough for allowing us to spend our honeymoon at your cozy cabin in Tahoe. Spring skiing at Squaw Valley was a blast. Everything was just perfect and exactly what we needed.

Dominique--Your "Reunion House" is a terrific home away from home. You have a clean, well decorated "home". We appreciate the kitchen and all the delights; quality pans and serving dishes, etc.. We have had such fun- didn't find any bears, but we have certainly enjoyed our stay. Thank You!

A wonderful start for our New Year. We noticed and appreciated all the new furnishings, but most of all just coming back to the home we love to visit was the real highlight. Skiing everyday, what a treat. Can hardly wait for our 2 week annual August visit! Thanks Dominique!
