This home is located on 3/4 acre and is right on the beach. The beach is filled with birds and fish making those beach walks interesting and fun. Some of the best fishing in the area is found right off the beach in front of the house. A private beach shower with hot and cold water is most refreshing after beachcombing or fishing.
This Non-Smoking house is all on one floor but elevated providing lovely views of St. George Sound and the islands beyond. Watching the sunrise over the water is a sight not soon forgotten. A large (900 square foot) living room with wood burning fireplace and entertainment center, large kitchen, separate dining room, wrap-around deck, and screen porch all make for a perfect house for the family or to entertain. If you bring the kids, their bedroom comes with its own TV and VCR.
Only 18 miles from Apalachicola a visit to this historic city to see the old homes, museum, shops and, of course, enjoy some famous Apalachicola oysters at one of the waterfront restaurants is well worth the trip.
