We recently stayed for a second time at Cecile's St. Germain-Buci apartment (previous stay 3 years ago) and enjoyed another wonderful experience. The apartment is up-to date - perhaps even more comfortable than on our previous visit. The portable air-conditioner worked very well. It also shut out outside noise on the few nights that there were parties nearby. The location is terrific - you can really walk all over Paris from here. Food shopping nearby - Carrefour, Picard's and local markets - is delicious and convenient. The ability to phone free to North America is great. We look forward to staying in one of Cecile's apartments on our next visit to Paris.

My son and I recently stayed at the apartment. It was wonderful in every way. The location was so great and everything about the apartment was great too. It was clean and so nice to come "home" to. Thanks so much to Cecile - she made everything so easy. It seems that she has thought of everything. Her pride in the apartment certainly shows. Everything is in great working order and of wonderful quality. We would definitley return and recommend to friends.

This apartment was the third apartment we have rented in Paris in the last 3 years. By far this apartment had the best combination of location and amenities of anywhere we have rented. The description does not describe how perfectly clean and well kept this apartment was. This is the only apartment we have rented where there was no wear-and-tear showing at all. We have Navigo metro passes that we charge each time we go to Paris but this time we were able to walk almost everywhere because of the location. The stairs in the building were easy to negotiate so don't be put off by the lack of an elevator. The neighborhood is a lot of fun to walk around and there are many good places to buy bread, pastry and groceries within a few blocks. We like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped to make some nice meals. Be sure to check out the Picard about a block from the apartment - you may change your mind on what frozen food should taste like. We loved this apartment so much we are already planning our return trip next Spring.

Once again, we had another wonderful visit in Cecile's apartments! It is always a pleasure! Having confidence that we will always be in lovely accommodations makes planning our visit to Paris so much less stressful. We consistently feel that Cecile is looking out for us and is quick to help us with any challenges. We love the area of the Buci apartment! It is especially great in the winter months when everything you need is just a few steps away. Having the little grocery just next door is so convenient! We had so much fun exploring the cute area all over again. Though it has been almost 2 years since we have stayed in this particular apartment, it was as fresh and as well taken care of as it was on our first visit. Cecile's design and style make returning to the apartment so relaxing. I would highly recommend a visit to her apartments to anyone!

Cecile takes excellent care with her apartments. This apartment was clean, comfortable, well outfitted and in an ideal location. I stayed for a week with my 9 year old daughter and we had plenty of room. It would be tight with 4 people but great for 2 adults or a couple with a child. The apartment is up 2 flights of very managable stairs and in the back of the building so extremely quiet (but a nice view onto the buildings' courtyard). Location is also excellent - a 5 minute walk to Notre Dame, 10 minutes to the Louvre, 15 minutes to the Musee d'Orsay and you are right in the heart of St Germain with all that has to offer. Lots of great restaurants and shops are all within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. I was recommended to Cecile by a friend and have already recommended her apartments to friends of mine. Cecile's apartments book up quickly so don't linger with your decision about whether or not to book it. Cecile is very good at communicating back from the initial contact through to any issues that may arise during your stay.

My wife and I and our 13 year old daughter stayed in Cecile's apartment for one week Oct 2011, and it was wonderful. The apartment itself is nice, with very comfortable bed and pull out sofa (really comfortable as well) and excellent bathroom, with modern fixtures and great water pressure. Size-wise it was perfect for us. I could see it being a tad tight for 2 couples, but a family of four with kids sharing the pull out would be fine. You have to walk up a few flights of stairs, but it is not bad at all. The location of the apartment is, in a word, incredible. We did not take a taxi once and rode the metro only twice; we just walked everywhere. We had a long list of restaurants to visit that were recommended by our many friends who have lived in Paris for years. Literally every single restaurant on the list was within a 0-15 minute walk. I cannot express enough how perfectly located the apartment is. The street on which it sits is a lively street, but the apartment itself is on the quieter end of the street and is set back in the building, so it is entirely devoid of street noise. (There is definitely some noise from the upstairs neighbors' footsteps on the hardwood, but this is really nothing, and no different than what you'd experience in a hotel or in virtually any other apartment...) The other thing that I really appreciated is that Cecile is a professional and runs a great little business. She is neither an owner of a single unit renting it out when she's not there, nor is she managing 50 apartments. Rather, she's figured out a sweet spot -- provide nice places in spectacular locations and attend to the details. She provides electrical adapters, hair dryer, towel warmer, nice wooden hangers, good towels, etc. The appliances in the apartment are all nice. In other words, she's really thought this out and runs a tight business. She is no nonsense, prompt with her communications and accessible and crystal clear with respect to her expectations and policies. There are no surprises. I would rent from her again in a heartbeat, and will do so for sure if we are fortunate enough to make another trip.

This was the second time we had rented from Cecile and once again we were not disappointed. Fabulous location and tasteful decor - we just wanted to move in! Finding somewhere to have a great dinner is not a problem in this bustling area but the real joy is buying local goodies to enjoy back in this lovely apartment! There is so much to do locally you won't need to take the Metro - just some good walking shoes! Bonne vacances!

We were really happy about the fact that the apartment was right in tune with photos and descriptions on the site (often there may be unpleasant surprises!) and really was very clean and quiet. The interior space is well used and the decor is truly charming. The location is fantastic, right in St.Germain with many restaurants of all kinds, from simple to more sophisticated and shops for every need. During the ten days of our stay in Paris, we almost had not to take the Metro, since, with some pleasant walks, you get to all interesting places of Paris, both tourist as well as less well known

St. Germain Buci is a wonderful apartment. It is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and comfortably furnished. the apartment provides all the necessary amenities to help you feel as though you are at home living in Paris. Cecile was extremely helpful and made everything from reserving, to arriving, to living comfortably in the apartment as easy as possible. We look forward to staying here every time we visit Paris!

Dear Cecile, Thank you once again for the use of the wonderful apartment on 29 rue Mazarine! We found the apartment to be nicely decorated, clean and modern! The location was fantastic and within walking distance to many lovely attractions. The numerous cafes, bakeries and markets made it also very easy to assimilate to the area. I would highly recommend this apartment to seasoned or first time visitors! thank you once again!

We stayed in the apartment for 10 days in September 2009. Buying fresh croissants and baguette every morning at Kayser or Paul is a 4 minute walk. Great location, beautiful, super clean, well equipped and decorated apartment, with good ventilation, and a very kind owner. Close to everything. We loved our stay and we'll be back.

This immaculate, tidy apartment was perfect for our 6 day stay in Paris. My husband and I and our 17year old daughter were very comfortable here, and the newly added air conditioning was most welcome when the temperature hit 97 F! We would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended the apartment and owner to friends.

This past June, we stayed in Cecile's wonderful rue Mazarine apt.for 5 nights. The location was perfectly situated between the activity of outdoor markets, fabulous restaurants, museums etc. We were literally, a 10 minute walk to the Louvre, close to the Siene - we could not have picked a better location. We had 3 young children with us and found the apt. to meet all of our needs. The apt. was exceptionally clean, updated with all needed amenities. I would hightly recommend this apt. to anyone and can hardly wait to return!

Dear Cecile, Thank you so much for making the apartment on rue Mazarine so perfect for our stay in Paris. We have always enjoyed the area around rue Buci because of the vibrant activity, but feared it would be too noisy to stay in an apartment nearby. Your apartment was just a block from the action, cafes, bakeries, and gelato shops, but when we arrived in our apartment it was like we were in a quiet residential area. So peaceful. The apartment was decorated so nicely and was full of light with full size windows opening onto a courtyard. We loved having breakfast each morning before heading out for an active day around Paris. Everything we needed to cook and dine was there for us. We also loved the shower and bright and airy bathroom. It was so refreshing after a long day of walking the city. I would have no hesitation about booking the apartment again on our next trip back to Paris. Sara and Morris Marx Pensacola, FL

My wife and I stayed here for a week this June and found the apartment perfect for our needs. It is perfectly situated close to the Metro and walking distance to great shopping, cafes and sites, but away from the noise. Everything was spotless and the shower has great pressure. Its a very short walk across the courtyard from the front door and up 3 short sets of stairs, but you'll be thankfull when you hear how quiet it is. We'll definitely stay again when we come back to Paris.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment, centrally located in the heart of the Saint Germain district. It is on a busy street, but the apartment faces a courtyard in the back of the building, so it is not noisy. It is a very well appointed one bedroom apartment, tastefully decorated and well-equipped It is very attractive and comfortable, and everything you could possibly need is just steps away - lively cafes, delicious boulangeries, the metro, etc. We definitely recommend it.

Dear Cecile We had a wonderful time in the apartment at St Germain-Odeon. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The free wireless internet and phone system made communicating with home very convenient when we had a pipe burst in our basement that needed replacing. I loved the apartment so much that I recommended to an American couple I met while in Paris. Having such a lovely home base made us feel right at home. Thank you so much.

My wife & I stayed here for 8 days in March, 2009. Very nice apartment in a great location. Despite being in a very lively area, the apartment is very quiet (except for an occasional noisy visitor next door). Nicely furnished & decorated, with a great shower. The weather was cold & rainy during our visit, but the apartment was warm & comfortable. Dealings with the owner were smooth & friendly. Be aware that apartment is two floors up, and there is no lift/elevator.

All of the furnishings are first class and it is obvious a great deal of pride has been taken in the overall presentation. The location is perfect as it's right in the heart of the wonderful St Germain-Des-Pres. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and we look forward to paying a repeat visit in the near future. Many Thanks to all involved. Anthony.

My husband and I enjoyed a week at the apartment with our 2 small children. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Best features were: location (close to grocery, dining and sites!), quality furnishings, washer/dryer, excellent and quiet heating system. We heard some noise from some social neighbors on a few nights, but nothing that kept us from sleeping. When we return to Paris, we would definitely contact Cecile. She was a pleasure to deal with. The infromation book that she's prepared in the apartment was also very helpful. We enjoyed many of the recommendations.

A longtime user of short-term vacation rentals, I found this apartment to be the cleanest I have ever found, well-appointed, and most of all superbly located in lively, restaurant packed St.Germain, within walking distance of everything worth seeing in Paris (and there is a lot !) both left and right banks. The owner's responsiveness and attention to details, makes one feel most welcome. One can only leave with a smile on the face.

This apartment has the best shower in all of Paris, really good large and great shower head. The apartment is perfect, very quiet because it is in back of the main street in the courtyard. We could hardly even hear the morning trash trucks which arrive about 6:00am everyday. Great simple kitchen, large windows, good heating, very secure feeling. This is a great location with the Metro and the RER only 2-3 blocks away and the Seine River only two blocks away. Easy rental arrangements, easy pay with paypal and no hassle with the security payment method. Plan on another rental from Cecile the next time we are in Paris.

I got to Paris 2x per year on vacation and this is the first time I have rented an apartment, and it was a great choice!!!!!!! The Saint Germain apartment was exactly what was portrayed in the pictures and descriptions. Incredible location in the heart of St. Germain, but at the same time in an inner court yard and very, very quite. The apt. is very nicely decorated, very comfortable (the bed is very comfortable) and the apartment is well equiped. The full washer and separate dryer were perfect as well. I will definetly stay here again.

Dear Cecile, Our desire for our 10 day stay in Paris was to be in an apartment to have privacy, room to move and independence, as well as being close to lots of attractions in an interesting part of the city . We achieved everything we set out to. All the booking and financial arrangements were made promptly and professionally and the guest information folder was compiled so well that we did not require any further support. We were delighted with the apartment, the area of Saint Germain des Pres and of course Paris itself is just wonderful. Cecile has gone to so much trouble to ensure a trouble free stay. Every possible convenience plus a booklet that explained how all the appliances, the TV, the internet etc worked. The apartment is in a fabulous location, easy walking distance to many of Paris's main attractions and to cafes and restaurants. I cannot think of a single suggestion I could make to improve this property.

Hello Cecile! We are just back from our stay in Paris and wish to thank you for the apartment St Germain Buci which really lived up to all of our expectations and which really made our time here unforgettable!! The location is wonderful! Lively and trendy, full of shops and restaurants. The Rue Mazarine is one of the most charming streets in the area, with a view of the superb Dome of the Institut de France. At the foot of the building there are two art galleries among many others and with the open air market at rue de Buci, which is literally a one-minute walk away, we were able to do our food shopping, which we later used to cook up some French cuisine in our apartment. The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and above all absolutely beautiful. We just loved the decoration of the apartment and the pretty bathroom. The bed is one of the most comfortable that we had ever slept in until now and although St Germain is a real lively area, the fact that the apartment looks onto the courtyard means it is perfectly calm and quiet. It was a real haven of peace after a full day of sightseeing and visiting Paris. We really hope to come back to Paris as soon as possible and to this apartment in particular! Zoe

a delightful luxurious hideaway in the middle of a vibrant and convenient location. We took our 2 daughters (8 and 13) who said they wanted to live there. Particulary decent shower - hooray would happily return, but with the Eurostar being so fast now from London, please consider 3 night rates that are value for money compared to a hotel. Thanks
