The vaulted loft is all knotty pine tongue and groove paneling. Two large dormers with padded reading benches look out over the blue waters of Serpent Lake. The master suite has a private bath and a queen bed. The spacious guest room has a full sized bed. The great room is open to the kitchen and has a queen sofa sleeper, TV, stereo and a breakfast bar with oak swivel stools. Outside the pergola covered cedar deck offers an inviting space for a barbeque or a cool evening space to relax.

This is a fantastic location for family fun! The Crosby Park offers a new deluxe “Project Play” playground, twin boat launches, public dock, fishing dock, huge sandy clean-water beach for swimming, small campground, an activity field and a new skateboard park. All of this fun is right outside your front door. This is a dream location that’s only 2 hours north of the Twin Cities. The Brainerd, Gull Lake and the Cross Lake areas are just a short drive away. You will find more of the “big resort” tempo here. It is fun for a day trip, and then you can unwind back in the quiet town of Crosby. Crosby has many fine shops, restaurants, taverns and is recognized as the “Antique Capital” of the north.

For those traveling light or without a boat, the local rental shop features kayaks, canoes, skis and bikes. Its one block away and they deliver to the beach! The local marina has pontoon delivery for a full day of fun on Serpent Lake! Our new paved bike trail offers miles of scenic ridding beneath a canopy of trees with several opportunities to enjoy the crystal clear waters of numerous trout filled mine pit lakes. The access point for the trail is less than a mile from the house.

Serpent Lake prides itself on some fine Walleye fishing and excellent water sports. This 1200 acre lake is hidden gem. It has clarity of over 12’ and is a very quiet lake with no resorts and limited access.
