Watch the sun setting into the ocean from the deck or enjoy an early morning walk on the sand with coffee in hand. Starbucks, restaurants, parks with BBQ's and a Pirate ship is some of the fun activies close to the cottage. Stores and surf/bike rentals are all within walking distance. Stroll to the Ventura Pier along the bike path near the sand. Surf, boogeboard or sunbath, which ever you desire to do it's your vacation, enjoy. Our beautiful, clean and uncrowded beach is perfect for a weekend getaway or a three week vacation. There is plenty to do, such as Channel Island Harbor, Ventura Pier, newly remodeled downtown Ventura with musuems, art & crafts, movie theatre, restaurants & shopping. All pet friendly.

Downtown~'Old Town' Ventura while not a specific activity is a cornucopia of treats. It is replete with wonderful shops, a myriad of restaurants to suit any palate and budget, art galleries, museums, concerts and live theatre. Rent bikes and ride to the Channel Islands National Park Visitors Center located in the nearby Ventura Marina. Hop on board one of the cruise boats that take you out to the Islands for a truly great hiking experience. A Whale watching cruise during the winter is a must.

  • Once again this year we had a wonderful time. The cottage is so comfortable and convenient to the ocean, the back yard and patio area is so relaxing and wonderful for all. The neighbors are so nice and friendly. This is a clean safe area to enjoy a relaxing vacation on the ocean. We will be here again next year. There are so many thing to do from Winery's to Whale Watching to just walking on the beach with your family and dog.

  • We have had a fabulous three months. The beach house has been the perfect get-away for us with our four legged kids! In fact, we loved it so much, we're thinking about booking again for next winter. I can't say enough about how comfortable we felt the entire time. The beach house is warm, cozy and the perfect distance to the ocean. Mia (our Toy Aussie) really had her schedule down on what time to hit the sand each morning and evening. It was so much fun to watch her chasing those shore birds and meeting all the little friends she made along the way... very nice people on the beach and in the neighborhood.   • What a wonderful place and time the four of us had. We had "NO" idea this would be such a wonderful time. The beach the surrounding area was great so much to do. The wine tasting was wonderful also. Don't miss out on all the Winery's. We loved the beach house and it was exactly like the pictures. We will see you again next year. Can't Wait!!!

  • The beach house has everything you need. Our stay there was the best week of the summer. We want pedding boating, play on the beach, watch the sea lions from the sand,at night we walk to the beach and watch the fireworks. In the morning we walk to starbuck and then start our day all over again. There so much to do will not enough time. Can't wait to come back.

  • Real comfort, cool evenings, warm afternoons, and uncrowded beaches -- who could ask for more?! The house is pleasing to the eye, beds are comfy and the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked. Watch the sunset from the front deck and bar-b-q in the private back yard. Plus there's lots of parking. Don't miss the boat trip to the Channel Islands. You can take an all-day trip and kayak around an island or go for a half-day and whale- and dolphin-watch. We saw Blue whales in the middle of July!!! Take bicycles or rent them near by for a ride up the coast. Explore great music and art in Ojai, a short drive away, or pick your favorite place to relax and read. We can't wait to go back!

    What a wonderful beach cottage! Neighbors were warm and cheerful. We had beverages at the beach every evening with the whole neiborhood to watch the fantasic sunset. Our kids played with other children without us worrying. Uncrowned beach with families playing and enjoying ventura's beautiful ocean. I thought I was in Hawaii without the tourists.   • My family and I had the best vacation ever! Every day we played at the parks, swam in the ocean and BBQ in the backyard. The kids ran down the street to catch the gorgeous sunset. Neigbors were friendly and at night it was quiet and peaceful.We are rebooking every year!
