Our week at this cabin was great! Descriptions and photos are accurate. We hung out down by the dock most every day after taking a walk around the lake. My expectations on the fishing were low based on the size of the lake however we caught panfish, nice sized bass, a 3 lb northern and a 23 inch walleye and we caught something every time we paddle around the lake. The beauty of it was we just used the paddleboat or canoe and no one else was on the lake. We saw one other boat on the lake the whole week we were there. We would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone wanting a nice peaceful place to relax.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

We just returned from a weeks stay at this cabin. Very spacious and nice. There were 19 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us to stay. We loved the bunk house. We also enjoyed the bike trail that was right close by also. Fishing was not the greatest; alot of fish, but they were all very tiny panfish. Overall a very enjoyable experience!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

This property was everything it said it was and more. We had 8 adults and 5 children and had plenty of room, not just for sleeping but eating and relaxing as well. Many nice extras - the beach area with bunkhouse and lawn chairs, fire pit, etc. were great. The kids loved the beach, the sunfish would swim up to them whenever they got in the water. They also had lots of fun fishing off the dock and catching sunnies one after another. Being close to the bike trail was also a nice plus. There's a very nice plaground at the end of the trail in Danbury. The ladies enjoyed a spa day at the Casino in Hinckley and the kids went to a movie one of the rainy days. All in all, it was a great vacation and I would definitely return and recomment it to family or friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

What a comfortable relaxing spot for a fall getaway. Four couples spent the weekend together...... Great walks around the lake, kitchen with the basic condiments and all essentials, lots of fires both inside and out. Owner was very responsive. Very clean with gorgeous rustic furnishings. The paddle boat is fun. Beachside lounge is superb. We will definitely return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This is the 2nd year that our group of 12 have stayed at the property. It is well maintained and spacious for the activities we plan. We visit in the winter so it is a nice base to use to go skiing or snowshoeing in the local parks or outside the front door to the lake. Lovely living room with wood stove to relax in the evening. This is a wonderful quiet getaway.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

We just got home from your lake home and it was FANTASTIC- All the comforts of home, peaceful quiet lake, immaculate accommodations, comfortable beds and more than enough space for our family to spread out and relax. We loved hearing the loons, having campfire, fishing, and the lake is so clean and clear. I would highly recommend this home. -Mary, Hudson WIDid you find this review helpful?
