Recovery room is a wonderful 1000 square foot A Frame. With a great beachy feel, spacious decks,6 person private hot tub and private in ground private swimming pool you will recover quickly from life's daily stresses.
Located on a quiet cul-de-sac nestled in the woods. Bring the kids or just your sweetheart, you can't go wrong at the recovery room.
This homes location is excellent for Children as it is at the end of the cul-de-sac.
Two Levels and over 1000 square foot of decking allows both sun and shade thru out the day. You also you may use the 2 car garage for your cars, motorcycles, etc... Bring your boat we have plenty of room in the driveway and the ramp is less than a mile away...
Master Loft bedroom is located upstairs. The guest bedroom is located downstairs....
All dishware, cooking supplies, household cleaners, are included. We do not provide linens, however We do provide comforters, extra blankets, bath and beach towels and bed pillows.
The resort of Ocean Pines offers several swimming pools ( 1 indoor) , golf,a private beach club,a boat ramp, a crabbing pier,several nature trails, fishing ponds, several parks, and so much more. Please visit their website for more details. We have provided a link for you.
Your own private pool is located in your own fenced back yard. We open the pool May 1st and we close the pool late September or Mid October depending on the weather... Chemicals and pool cleaning items are provided. The hot tub is open year round.
Ocean City speaks for itself, and is only 5 miles away via Route 90.
This home is located in the north gate of Ocean Pines. It offers quick access to Route 90 and Ocean City. (Approximately 5 Miles)

For your added enjoyment we provide several beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, 2 surf boards, beach umbrella, surf rods, metal detector, cooler, 2 adult 12 speed bikes and 3 children bikes are included with your rental. Also included is a parking pass for the beach club as well as id cards for the pool at the beach club. We also provide a crab steamer and and a Gas Grill.
WE ACCEPT Visa or Master Card, Pay Pal, Personal Checks may be used as well but must clear prior to check in....

Why the Owner Chose Ocean Pines
We purchased in Ocean Pines as we do not like the crowds found in Ocean City. We wanted a beach home that was in a safe and quiet location. Also we wanted a House not a condo which can cost a lot of extra money in fees. We enjoy riding our bikes around Ocean Pines, the waterfront is not far, and the parks are un crowded. The boat ramp is only a couple of minutes away as well. When we go to Ocean City we are only 5 minutes away and enjoy the Beach Clubs pool, showers, food bar, and ocean. Secrets night club is located directly accross the street from the beach club. Also for a couple of bucks we can leave the car at the beach club , grab the bus and go anywhere in oc.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The decks are great as well as the in ground swimming pool and 6 person hot tub. We can always find some sun or shade when we are staying at the home. If you are a nature buff, birds, squirrls, butterflys are all plentiful. Our location is at the end of a culdesac which is both safe and quiet. The A frame style of the home is different than most other homes making it unique. Our home sits back off the road about 75 feet offering more privacy than many other homes. Also its location offers safe areas for our children to play as there is no thru traffic.
We include many items in your rate such as Boogie Boards, Beach Chairs, cooler, and umbrella. Bikes, surf rods, crab steamer, etc...

Hello, My name is Tim and My wifes name is Cheri. We are happy to be able to open our vacation home to you. We love the beach and the location of our home is perfect as it is only a few miles from Ocean City. Ocean Pines has many amenities which we enjoy, especially the beach club. When we are not Beach Bumbs we both work full time and have two wonderful boys. It is our desire to offer you a wonderful vacation opportunity. We include many items not found in other homes and hotels. In May of 2009 we have purchased a brand new 6 person hot tub that we know you will enjoy. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Recovery Room. A cozy and clean home, perfect for our weekend getway. A nice touch to drain the hot tub after each renter. We look forward to returning in warmer months to make use of the pool!

Our stay was wonderful! The Recovery Room was exactly what we needed! We wanted a place that we could bring our dog for this vacation, and she loved it! The fact that you have so much fenced in space was right up her alley! Absolutely perfect! Thank you for allowing us to bring her!!! The amenities were beyond generous! So much to offer! Wish we had better weather to take advantage of the pool, but we made up for that with the hot tub! Even in the rain! Just took an umbrella with us and wha-la! It was very obvious how well you take care of this property. Very clean, neat, organized. Again, I can not say enough nice things about your home and planning this trip with you was just effortless! So, to end, Thank you Thank you Thank you and I look forward to returning to the Recovery Room verrryy soon! P.S. the porch with the chimes and the viney flowers...a wonderful place for our morning coffee, but topped off with a hummingbird flocking around those flowers couldn't have been planned better!

My family had a great vacation, the pol and hot tub were a big hit. There was always something to do, the bikes were well used. The decks were great to relax on and the neighborhood was nice.

The Recovery Room was perfect for our 4 person family. When we arrived we found a spotless house that matched the description perfectly. We kept in contact with the owner on questions we had before we arrived and during, and were answered promptly. The stay was great. The pool and hot tub worked out well for us and our two kids, even after long days at the beach! The beach club passes were great as well, we used them every day at the beach and it was wonderful. We will certainly consider this rental on our next trip. Ocean Pines is a great location to stay, and this house has a nice spot in the Pines and the drive to OC is no problem from here.

This July (2011) will be our 4th year in a row staying at this beach rental house. We have been going to the Recovery room with another family for 3 years. I personally can not ask for better people to rent from. The owners of this rental property have been more then accommodating in all the years we have been going there. We have 2 children that go with us and every year they can't wait to return. The cul-da sac that they can play and ride bikes in is great. The pool & hot tub are always clean and very enjoyable to use. The house has always been cleaned. Myself & our family friend look forward to taking our after the beach naps on the very comfortable couch & futon. The owners are right the house is not the Ritz Carlton but is a very lovely & comfortable well maintained and my family will continue to rent there as long as they allow us to. I wrote the owner after checking out of rental a few days early. we are a senior professional couple who have used VRBO for 10 years with GREAT results and satisfaction until this rental. Upon check in we found that the sofa was all torn up and looked as if it was salvaged from the trash and sat on floor with a dirty stained slip cover. The futon was the same as terribly soiled. The bed upstairs was positioned so that one would have to crawl below ceiling at foot of bed to get out. Tried to sleep on futon after we ent out and did purchase an aero bed to place on top. When we did originally pull out the futon it has food and plastic beads embedded in it. we also found spoiled food in refrigerator and microwave. I wrote the owner a day after we got home to statde we cehcked out early and our concerns and waited a week and got no response. Got his VM by phone and no response. Wrote him forwarding same email a week later. then got short glib response which was : I did receive your email and have no response and have sent you your security deposit. The community was nice and the hot tub was also nice but due to uncleanliness and trash quality furnishings it surely was at wrong comparable price point and will not recommened to anyone other that for HS seniors looking for a fun flop house.
Owner response:As the owner and also "cleaning crew" of this unit I can assure anyone interested in renting our property that we take great care and pride in our little beach get-away. I , personally , clean AND disinfect the bathroom and kitchen as well as vacuum thoroughly and clean each and every room. In response to above comments.............A) My husband did, in fact, respond apologizing if the furniture did not suit this particular couple. I would like to add that we are NOT the Ritz Carlton! .....we are a very family friendly rental with furnishings that welcome you to be at ease while on your vacation. We consider our so called "trash quality couch" quite comfy and like the fact that we can launder the slipcover when necessary between renters. Our futon is just 2 years old and is after all a "futon". Perhaps a stray air-soft BB or a few cookie crumbs may have been left behind by one of the many happy families that enjoyed playing in our kid-friendly living room. NOTHING in my home is "terribly soiled". B)I am an average size individual and have no problems with the placement of the upstairs bed. Our home is an "A-frame" and we find the position of the bed to offer maximum privacy and open space of the loft. If this were to be a problem we would be more than happy to re-position it as this would a simple adjustment if we were properly notified. C)After CLEANING THE MICROWAVE and FRIG I stored our snacks for the day there (aka...spoiled food?). As we were leaving Ocean Pines we realized this and headed back to get them. However when we returned the renters had already arrived (a bit early) so we decided not to disturb them and went on our way. D)Our "price point" includes many extra amenities such as hot tub, private pool with slide for kids, bikes, boogie boards, pool and beach toys, DVD's, board games etc.We DO NOT rent to HS seniors. I would encourage all future renters to check out our pictures. We think our house is charming, cheerful, and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a quiet evening after a day at the beach.......and we have a guest book full of families and RETURN RENTERS who feel the same.

What a wonderful experience at the Recovery Room! The pool was clean with plenty of privacy. The hot tub was very relaxing. An ideal getaway for a family or to share with another couple. The owners were flexible with booking and I can't wait to plan our next weekend retreat!
