Kitchen/Dining - Vermont Vacation Condo Rental This studio is perfect for a couple. It also works well for a couple and one child. It is about 430 square feet, there is no separate bedroom. The kitchen/dining/bedroom are all one room. The unit is decorated with pine-cone, nature oriented decor. We have received many compliments on the decor. It has two windows and a French door (no balcony) facing East, so mornings are always bright and cheerful. The bathroom has sink, toilet, hairdryer, bathtub/shower. We have replaced the Murphy bed with a regular queen bed. What an improvement!! There is a new storage unit in the unit to help in hanging clothing and storing boots. You may park your vehicle in the underground heated parking garage. (one vehicle only) An elevator takes you up to your unit. The Hearth room which looks out onto the pool is located on the main level, has a large stone traditional wood-burning fireplace. Guests are welcome to sit in this room to read or enjoy an après ski drink. There is also a gas burning fireplace in the unit. You can also store your skis or board at the base near the Gondola at STOR-A-SKI for $4 per night. There is a partial mountain view of Stratton slopes. Walk across the street and walk through the pedestrian (no cars) village to restaurants, cafes, small food market with wine/beer, ski shops, ski rental shops, outerwear shops including Bogner, and within five minutes you are at the gondola. Shopping at the outlets of Manchester, Vermont is a twenty minute drive. Manchester hosts many wonderful restaurants and unique stores such as Orvis and the Orvis outlet. The area around Stratton hosts a variety of restaurants. There are menus available at the second floor main entrance. During summer and fall there are many options available for outdoor activities. Stratton has a beautiful golf course. It also has a top notch golf and tennis school. Pack a lunch and walk from the unit up the mountain. At the top you will be able to access the Long Trail/Appalachian Trail. There is a fire tower at the entry to the trail where you will have a marvelous view. During the autumn weekends the gondola will be running to the top for leaf peepers. SUMMER RATES $200 for Saturday & Sunday nights-3 night minimum $150 for Week nights & Sundays, 3 night minimum AUTUMN RATES Same as summer WINTER RATES 2008-2009 Rates are per room per night 4 NIGHT MIN STAY $50 due at booking. 50% of total stay due 2 months prior to arrival. Balance plus refundable security deposit of $250 due 2 weeks prior to arrival.
