We rented out Dee's house for a week prior to our wedding, and also used it as our wedding ceremony and reception venue. It was wonderful beyond words. Dee and her husband are more hospitable than we could have dreamed, and the grounds were GORGEOUS. The gardens are spectacular. My guests remarked on them over and over again. The pictures truly do not do it justice. I am not allowed to post a link in a review, otherwise I would post the link to our wedding pictures from Joyeuse Photography. Please ask Dee for the link and she will send it to you if you are interested! We would recommend this house for a family vacation or event! The renters must be respectful, of course, because it is a private residence, not a hotel.

My parents rented this home for a week for my wedding and it was the best idea ever! The home was perfect and Dee was so great. It was the perfect idea to have one central location to work out of...The home was beautiful and the pictures with my girls as we were getting ready before the wedding were amazing and something I will treasure forever.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
