Catalina State Park is 10 minutes away for great hiking. Cinema is 20 minutes away at the Foothills Mall. Great location for easy day trips to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Biosphere 2, Bisbee (historic copper-mining town), Colossal Cave, Fourth Avenue Shopping District, Kartchner Caverns, Kitt Peak Observatory, Miraval, Mount Lemmon, Old Tucson Studios, Pima Air & Space Museum, Sabino Canyon, Saguaro National Monument (West and East), San Xavier Mission del Bac, Tanque Verde Swap Meet, Tombstone (the “town too tough to die”), Tubac, and Mexico.
