This is one of the premier rental properties on historic reelfoot lake. Reelfoot lake was formed during the New Madrid earthquake in 1811-12 when the earth sank and the Mississippi River flowed north for three days to fill the lake. Reelfoot has been the sportsman's premier destination for almost two hundred years. It has some of the finest crappie fishing in the country, as it was the site of the 2007 national Crappie-A-Thon. The lake consists of 38,000 acres of unspoiled southern cypress wilderness. We have fabulous duck hunting on the lake and in the nearby Mississippi River bottoms. Guides can be arranged for fishing and hunting or you are able to guide yourself.
A 3500 foot lighted airport is located 5 minutes from the lodge.
Bald Eagle tours are available during the winter months that originate near the lodge.
Excellent restaurants are located around the lake for some of the best family style meals you have ever tasted, or cook your own meals in the lodge.
We also have a party shack available for an additional charge, with a full kitchen, two full baths, large tv/stereo, dance area, pioneer bar, 500 lb. ice maker, beer meister machine, professional fish fryers, with seating for up to 50 people or more. Great for corporate gatherings and Church dinners. All with a lake view.

Why the Owner Chose Reelfoot Lake
I have hunted and fished Reelfoot Lake for almost 50 years. In my opinion it is the most beautiful naturally created lake in the United States. I also wanted to provide a quality, upscale accomodation for outdoors men and women to enjoy this beautiful lake.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge
We have great fishing, duck hunting, bird watching and boating. In the winter we have bald eagle tours around the lake. There is an Airpark (paved lighted airstrip)close by where you can fly in if you access to a private plane. The food at the area restuarants is next to fabulous. The Lodge has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, satillite tv, free long distance telephone and a large deck overlooking the lake. We have available a 1700 square foot party place with full kitchen and steam table. It also has a frontier bar with beermiester and large ice machine. Large flat screen tv. It rents seperate from the lodge or with the lodge. Additional photos are available by request.
