Save your vacation money just like these owners did by being across the street from the water rather then on the beach! Gorgeous 3/2 house with vaulted ceilings and Tommy Bahama decor! Everything you could possibly need has been provided, along with directions to get everywhere you want either On island, or OFF, and over into Bonita Springs or Naples! We have created this hospitality to have everything you could ever want to use on vacation, and have it there, waiting for your arrival! So just bring your swimsuit, toothbrush, and sweater for the dining air conditioning!
It is actually a "stilt" home, but looks like a large 2 story house. There are stairs to the front and back, to easily access the beach, which is across the street, in back. Pick your breakfast from the many different fruit trees, in season (banana, ruby red grapefruit, multiple oranges, mango, lemon-lime etc) and enjoy your meals on the "lanai" (a screened porch down here) with the fans going overhead, and a laid back relaxing vacation!
This house is located at the south end of the island, away from the "carnival" atmosphere of North Ft. Myers Beach, where all the motels & arcades are crowded together, and traffic on the only main street is slower then walking! The trolley is available for around 25 cents/person, and makes this area easier to get to. Instead, you can drive south along the 3 short islands, through Lovers Key State Park, past beach mansions in Bonita Beach, and on into Bonita Springs or Naples, playground of millionaires all year long!
From beaching, to boating, seeing the fabulous wildlife, gourmet dining, incredible shopping, (all outside-remember, it's 70+ degrees in January!) theater, dancing, and something to satisfy every style or appetite, you'll start to understand why people really do feel this is paradise, and you will want to stay or return as often as possible! Thirty minutes from the airport, door to door! Hurry down and be prepared to want to stay forever!

- You are 3 minutes from the most beautiful state park in all of Florida (Lover's Key), with nature at it's finest. The best beaches and activities. Another 5 minutes and you are in Barefoot Beach Park, with the tortiose' crossing the road and bald eagles overhead, speaking of which, a pair of eagles are starting a nest in a neighbor's pine tree. Also, you can be in a boat on the back bay in a half hour including the paperwork, with dolphins & manatees all around!

My family of six which included two college aged daughters all stayed here and loved it. We never felt cramped or crowded at all. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and I liked the location. The trolley was very convenient and the beach close by. Molly was very helpful and literally just a phone call away. Definitely felt like home away from home.

The location of this beach house was just fabulous. Everything you needed was there with easy access to all that is great in Ft. Myers such as the dog beach, Lovers Key, Barefoot Beach and it is at the southern end of the island away from the traffic and party atmosphere of the north beaches. The ability to bring our dogs was just wonderful. This beach house was exactly as described in the listing and he owner was extremely helpful by phone with tips on where to go, best restaurants, etc. This is a lovely place and we would recommend it to anyone wanting a beach vacation in Florida. We will be back.

As any property owner can attest to, there was a slight problem with the ice maker tube dripping, when I didn't even know there WAS one! My guests took care of the issue, and reported to me. Thanks Molly for a wonderful home perfect for a sister's getaway! It felt comfortable the minute we walked in the door......hard to leave after a week with so much more we wanted to do! Loved the close access to the beach and the state park nearby. The bikes were fun---retro, with no gears or handbrakes. With sightseeing, beaching it, shopping, eating out---basically being tourists----we had a blast. Can't wait to return and stay a little longer. All your hospitality, helpful information, and attention to details was greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If this house had arms it would have hugged us and pulled us in. For the next month Molly's house became a hideaway from all the busy life we were looking to hide from for awhile. The house is clean, spacious and welcoming, perfectly situated to beaches, dog beach (WOW) shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is friendly and easy to navigate and both Jack and I enjoyed cooking our meals in it. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds comfortable with plenty of closet and drawer space. We liked it so much we booked again next year. Molly and her family are genuine, welcoming and accommodating. We left feeling like we had made new friends.

My husband and I have rented this home for a few years now, in February, March and August and every time it was wonderful. Obviously it's usually warm in winter and, believe it or not, not too hot in the summer. There's a nice ocean breeze any time of year. Great swimming in the ocean in August, the water a little cool in the winter. We've used the heat (in winter months you can have some cool days) and the AC in August and both keep the house perfecltly comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and restaurants, grocery stores. Great beach for walking and finding shells, and checking out the wildlife. You can enjoy the peace and quiet and have a tranquil, relaxing vacation, shop 'til you drop, or be adventurous and go boating, skiing, parasaliling, etc. all available nearby. The house itself is beautiful and has all the amenities. I would highly recommend this rental any time of year.

We were in off-the-Beach House in Jan, 2011. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and is close to the beach and the trolley to the north end of the island. Personally, I found this end of the island a lot more comfortable since it is not as crowded as the north end. The best part was being able to bring my dog with me. It was a very enjoyable trip.

My friends and I decided late to find a place on the beach for the weekend of July 4, 2010. I did a search on the site and found this listing. It was perfect for us because my friend had 2 dogs that needed to go on the weekend getaway with us. I contacted the owner and everything from that point on was a breeze. The rental, the planning anf the house were perfect. The owner of this house has thought of everything you might need to make this house a perfect getaway. Big enough for 7 and 2 dogs we never felt crowded. The home was well taken care of. We didnt need anything to make the weekend great except groceries. I had to laugh when I got to the house and found that the owner had even left us a note with some of her favorites on the island. This was a great experience and we will definitely visit the BUCC house again. I highly recommend for families and people wanting to getaway without any hassle.

My family and I celebrated my gram's 90th birthday at the BUCC house. We had lots of room and found everything to be very comfortable and homey. The lanai is wonderful with the breeze blowing off the ocean and only a short walk across the street to the beach! Lots of fresh mangoes around for breakfast. We enjoyed staying there very much! Molly was very accommodating and helpful with all of my questions!!

We spent 10 days in what was forecasted to be a very rainy season. The house was awesome - all amenities included, the weather was great (some rain, nothing to worry about). With 6 adults and 2 infants it would've been a very difficult first vacation if not for the enormous help from the owner who went out of her way to accommodate us: provided a great house that fit everyone, helped with crib rentals, provided toys and games, etc. The beach was nice, though we also spent some time at the great Barefoot Beach 15 min away and took a trip to Miami Beach (2 hours). Great fishing and shell-picking, lots of BBQ and swimming - great!
