Make your vacation one to remember with a visit to our updated Cottage and the beautiful north woods. Clear Lake is "Haywards best kept secret". We offer a quiet serene cabin located on a beautiful lake with a clear water beach where children can splash and play. The perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Enjoy your coffee on the 700 sq ft deck overlooking the lake and surrounding woods and cookout in the evenings in the cool evening air. Sometimes a deer will wander through on its way to the lake for water and there is also a family of nesting loons. You might even see an eagle soar overhead. There is a fire pit to sit around in the evenings while you listen to the sounds of the woods and make smores. There is nothing quite like the north woods.
The cabin is conveniently located approximately 12 miles east of Hayward with close proximity to the Tiger Cat Flowage and Round Lake. It is situated on a private three acre site with 150 feet of lake frontage. You can enjoy panoramic views and breathtaking sunsets from the deck. The cabin has two bedrooms and one bath. There is an open kitchen/living room/dining area with lots of windows to enjoy the surrounding woods. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. A queen size futon is in the living area for additional sleeping accommodations.
Clear Lake is ideal for swimming, boating and fishing. There is a sandy beach with a dock. Great fishing for crappies, sunfish, bass and muskie. A 14ft non-motorized fishing boat is available for your use. You can bring a small horse motor or trolling motor and cruise around the lake in search of the best fishing spots (and there are many). The lake is also perfect for kayaking or canoeing. There is a landing for launching your kayaks or canoes but the canal from the landing to the lake is a little too shallow for most larger fishing boats. Boat ramps on Tiger Cat Flowage and Round Lake are close by.
Clear Lake Cottage is an ideal spot for a quiet relaxing retreat or to enjoy the many activities that abound in the area.
The cottage is a housekeeping cabin. Towels and toiletries are not provided however bed linens are furnished and utensils/dishes for preparing meals. The Cottage is a non-smoking cabin and there are no pets allowed.
Take action early spring to assure a great place to spend a few days in the beautiful north woods.

The Unique Benefits at this Lake Cottage
Clear Lake Cottage is on a beautiful serene quiet lake nestled among lush woods. The lake is wonderful for swimming, fishing and boating. The large 700 ft wrap around deck is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or relaxing at sunset with a dinner of grilled fish from the days catch. The area abounds with activities and downtown Hayward is a lovely little town with fun little shops to browse on Main Street.
A landing is available on Clear Lake for launching your boat. There are other landings in close proximity for access to Round Lake and Tiger Cat Flowage.
