When we arrived the place was so filthy it had cockroaches everywhere & it stunk the Owner said he would give us a credit cause we refused to stay there after seeing how groose this place was & he still has not responded to any of our calls so I consider that very poor costumer serviceDid you find this review helpful? Overall nice room!, more for 2 people or 2 people and an infant. Price is good for what you get! Only real complaint TV did not work, but since I wasnt there to watch TV I did not mind that much. Perfect location for those who love the pool, room is just approx, 40 feet from pool entrance. I would stay there again if I went with just wife.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

The apt is in a great central location a lot of attractions nearby, beach,pool right outside apt on first level,lots of restaurants nearby and casinos, there's a Walgreen's nearby open 24 hrs, the apt was clean,comfortable and peaceful with private patio for sunbathing and lounging.The staff at ESJ were very helpful and courteous.There was a convenient indoor parking spot assigned for your vehicle. I would highly recommend this Apt. rental to other people planning to visit San Juan P.R.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Pool area and location next to beach is perfect. The room it self is far from perfect. The sofa bed used by our children was much too soft and not suitable as bed. Room in need of a general cleaning and new paint.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+.

The resort's amenities were great and the location was superb. The room was in good condition but. I was there for 10 days and the tv( cable/satellite) didn't work after the fourth night. I contacted the front desk and was informed that the resort was switching to digital(?) tv. After the second day of tv not working I checked with the front desk again and was told that all tvs were working and that I would have to contact the owner. To make a long story short the tv didn't work again. My suggestion is that major changes should be made in low season and that the owner have someone available to assist with any issues while he is on vacation. Also, no Internet service in the room and the resort charges 12.95 per 24 hour period. Overall, vacation was great.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Apt 165 has been great; I am very happy with the space and its location, right off the pool; we like the fact that we can go to the pool from the patio or simply out the main door - I really like the convenience and happy the kitchen available saves money. We also appreciate the clean apartment and its set up. I most of all appreciate the space for parking, having a rental and driving to visit my family in Fajardo, Carolina and Caguas made it special.Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I gotta say the room was great. But they need to install a better wireless provider for rooms. We have to come downstairs just to get a proper singal.Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

Exactly as advertised. Not luxurious, but clean with a great location. Two of us were there to play baseball, so for the two of us the accommodations matched our needs. Unlike another post that I read, I was able to access free wi fi.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+.

If you are looking for a spacious studio in a great location with friendly people and attentive staff, this is the place. The ground floor studio has a comfortable bed, couch, chair and dining table and an enclosed patio with a door that leads to the pool. There is no view but we knew this before we rented. We also knew we'd have to do our own housekeeping for the week. We saw other people switching out room towels and getting basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towel and soap. I'm not sure if that service applies to private rental situations or not because the apartment was sufficiently set when we arrived. One thing to be aware of is the WiFi/Internet is not "free" anywhere in the towers, You can pay a daily rate or $.35 a minute, which is fair enough. Isla verde is the quieter side of the island and the ESJ is located right next door to the El San Juan Hotel. La Playita to the right has a delicious $7.00 burger for lunch and El Alambique to the left has great everything in a laid back beach front bar atmosphere. The protected beaches are beautiful and just a 10-15 minute drive, as are the $2.00 pinchos and $3.00 pina coladas made by the locals. ESJ is not a huge, fancy resort and the apartment is dated, but it IS well maintained and offers all the basic amenities you need for a DIYS vacation. And, the free covered parking and daily pool bingo are definite pluses!Recommended for: Age 55+.
