Front View of our Secluded Cabin - Helen, Georgia Cabin Rental This ideal vacation spot is nestled in the woods and borders a state preserve for optimal privacy. The 1 acre property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac with only 2 other homes, none of which are visible. There is no traffic and safe for kid's and pet's to run and play. ***** Unlike many vacation properties listed in "Helen" WE TRULY ARE IN THE CITY LIMITS AND JUST A SHORT 5 to 10 MINUTE WALK TO RESTAURANTS, SHOPS, DOWNTOWN, OKTOBERFEST HALL and just 2 short miles from UNICOI STATE PARK. ***** Enjoy all the comforts of home and more ..... LARGE GAS FIREPLACE that is easy to operate with a remote control; TV's for each bedroom and the living room; HIGH-SPEED BROADBAND INTERNET SERVICE (free upon request); FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN; WASHER & DRYER and as an added bonus expect visits from the neighborhood black cat, blue heeler dog, hummingbirds and the other little critters that roam our property (Don't worry, nothing dangerous :-) The best part of our secluded cabin is found in the back - YOU WOULD NEVER IMAGINE THAT YOU ARE LESS THAN 1/4 MILE FROM A BUSTLING LITTLE TOWN. There are 3 DECKS ON VARIOUS LEVELS. The MAIN DECK is partially covered and has a dining table and 6 chairs. The LOWER DECK is large and has plenty of room to sprawl out and relax and finally the UPPER DECK has a comfortable glider love seat. From all the levels enjoy the privacy of THE WOODS THAT SURROUND YOU OR ENJOY THE BABBLING BROOK that runs right under the back porch. One Bedroom has a king size bed while the other,larger bedroom has one double and two twin size beds. Well trained dog's may be allowed (PLEASE NO CATS). PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE LISTED ONLY WEEKLY RATES but will be happy to work with you in order to achieve your personal itinerary and offer discounts for off-season and longer period stays- just give a call, or email! This is a very comfortable, up-to-date cabin. It was completely renovated with new interior, furniture, windows, roof, decking and so much more within the past four years. HELEN is a perfect vacation spot and centrally located for all your day trips - BUT ONCE YOUR DONE FOR THE DAY WOULDN'T IT BE NICE JUST TO PARK THE CAR AND WALK TO DOWNTOWN, HAVE DINNER, ENJOY A LITTLE NIGHT LIFE, DO SOME SHOPPING AND JUST STROLL BACK HOME. We have been coming up here for some 15 years and also started with renting cabins miles outside of town, not wanting to stay at a motel/hotel and loving the privacy BUT NOT APPRECIATING THE DRIVE HOME AFTER A FUN NIGHT IN HELEN. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin in Helen. We had a great time! Your place is absolutly wonderful. We had everything we needed. It's located in the perfect spot, secluded but still so close to town. Having such a nice place to stay added to the unforgetable time we had on our Spring vacation. Having the brook so close by added to the great experience. The sound is wonderful and very relaxing! On our trip, Helen received lots of rain. It rained all day and night, Friday and Saturday! Even though there was lots of rain, we didn't let it dampen our spirits! We enjoyed many of the local attrations. I really appreciate you letting us enjoy your cabin.
