Eichenhof is what we call this house, which is German for "Land of Oaks". It's private and quiet, but this gated community has a wealth of amenities and things to do.

Bear Valley Springs, 20 minutes outside of Tehachapi (or just two hours from Los Angeles) is a wonderful destination in itself. The distance from LA is perfect -- it is close enough to feel that you are away from the city, but close enough to do a two-night weekend stay.

Enjoy this spacious, open floor-plan, 4,000 sq ft home with its unobstructed views of the southern Sierra and Tehachapi mountains. It sits at 4,300 ft elevation and has been completely remodeled. Perfect for couples traveling together, families, or for two just wanting a romantic quiet time away.

When you enter the circle drive you'll find ample parking, and as you enter the house you see what makes it so special. The house is built on a slope so the front appears like a ranch style house, but in fact the back of the house is two levels -- all with unobstructed views.

The view is one of the best in the area and everything has been upgraded -- we installed the oak floors by hand. The kitchen, bathrooms, dining area, entrance -- everything -- has been remodeled. The master bath has a Jacuzzi tub with new travertine tile.
