The house is furnished and is in the Hideout, a 4 star resort gated community. The house has 2 wood burning FIREPLACES, along with A/C in most rooms, and 2 1/2 baths. It has a GAMEROOM (in a heated 23 x 23ft garage). In the game room is a pool table, a ping pong table, indoor basketball, dart game, many other games, and a 5 C/D changer stereo player. The game room has a sofa bed, and is a 6th sleeping area.
This property has it's OWN PRIVATE BEACH. The community has private beaches, swimming pool, skiing on the premises, fishing, etc.
The house offers free local and long distance calls throughout the States, and wireless internet access.
Special Property Features:
1. Game Room. A 23 x 23 foot garage turned into a game room. It's carpeted, heated, has ceiling fans, TV, cable, DVD player (in every room), full size pool and ping pong tables, indoor basketball, dart game, plus bowling and other children games. The game room also has a Sofa Bed. This game room is detached from the house, permitting all night playing without disturbing anyone in the house. The game room has a tape/5 CD changer stereo player, and a 10.5 cu. ft. refrigerator.
2. Private Beach There is a private sandy beach on the property with an adult 2-3 sitter wooden swing. A pole light on the beach permits its use at night. swimming is allowed in the lake, as well as fishing. (A permit is required from the Hideout for fishing). Wireless Broadband Internet is provided, as well as free unlimited long distance phone calls throughout the States.
House Layout: Top level has 2 bedrooms with A/C, queen bed in one room, & a bunk bed with full size bed at the bottom and twin on top. A folded twin bed is also available in that room. A bathroom is in the center of these 2 rooms.
Main floor has a master bedroom with A/C, a king size bed, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room all with A/C, with one wood burning fire place. Living room and dining room glass walls permit view of the lake. Screened in porch and open porch with grill face lake.
Third level has a 4th bedroom with a queen size bed; a family room turned into a 5th bedroom with a sofa bed, a futon that sleeps 2, a 2nd twin folding bed, a small sofa, a bar, a Second wood burning fireplace, TV, DVD player, a 1/2 bath, and a washer & dryer. In that laundry room 1/2 bath combination, there is a 3rd twin folding bed that can actually be used there or somewhere else. The house comfortably sleeps 20, including the game room sofa bed (a 6th sleeping area).
LAKE WALLENPAUPACK is about 8 minutes from the house, for water activities and waterfront restaurants. For skiing, SNOW and ELK mountain are about 25 minutes away, CAMELBACK mountain is about 40-45 minutes away.
Keep in mind that besides our rental fee, that the Hideout charges a registration fee:
Weekend (1-3 overnights) $75
One week (4 7 overnights) $100
Two weeks (8-14 overnights) $135.
They do charge a late fee of $25 if given less than 2 working days to process your paperwork.
PRICES are SUBJECT TO CHANGE and on HOLIDAYS PRICES MAY INCREASE. A MINIMUM 3 NIGHTS rental is required ON HOLIDAYS.
