Economy condo in luxury resort. Value priced.....excellent for a couple or economy-minded party of 4. Best Location in Lionshead next to the gondola and chair lift. Full hotel amenities with outstanding service and concierge....including two hot tubs, pool with luxurious changing rooms, showers, towels. Lobby with roaring fireplace and mountain views. Ski valet, garage parking, Mezzaluna Restaurant, and a fitness center.
The condo is recently upgraded with new bathrooms, TV, tile floor, lighting, paint and furniture. Approx. 550 sq. ft.(see photos). One bedroom with queen bed, super-queen size sleeper sofa in living room. Full kitchen. Two bathrooms. Direct access both to the garage and to the hotel. Next to rental ski shop. Lower floor, no view.
No car necessary...all of Lionshead and Vail is accessible by foot and free shuttle bus. Arabelle and "New Lionshead" just opened featuring outdoor ice rink, world-class restaurants, designer shops.

Great unit, can't get any closer

Great property and you cannot get closer to the slopes than this. Grab your skis from the ski valet and walk maybe 20 steps from the building to the gondola. For those familiar with Vail, this is the property just to the left of the skier bridge as you come down from the mountain to the base of Lionshead. The only way you could get closer would be if they built some condos on top of the gondola! The unit itself is clean, modern, and tastefully furnished. No view, but it is literally next door (as in, the next door over from yours in the building) to the Charter Sports location so if you are renting (or in my case, getting skis waxed), it can't get any easier. 2 full baths make it easy for a party of 3 or 4 to all get ready in the morning and clean up at the end of the day. The parking is underground and on the same floor as the unit, making bringing your luggage in a breeze. The staff was excellent - exceedingly helpful and friendly. We loved the ski valet, with his hot cocoa and cider and cookies waiting as we just got off the slopes. The facility's sauna and whirlpool were great for an apres-ski soak/steam. The owner was easy to reach and helpful in describing the property in detail to us before we booked it. Pros: -clean, modern, well kept -proximity to the gondola (~20 steps) -ridiculously close to rental store (next door - maybe 8 feet) -ski valet and staff were excellent -free underground parking -access to spa, hot tubs, lockers Cons: -no mountain view, but hey.... you can't always get it all. Would recommend to others and would definitely rent again.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.
