Sally, We had a wonderful stay at your Full Moon Cottage and it really did feel like home away from home. Thank you for all the amenities of home and for the really lovely decorating you have done. I would recommend this to the family of any Marine family as it makes the entire stay, from meals to coordinating transportation so much easier. My family kept asking “How did you think of this??” Thank you for the chocolates and for having everything ‘ready to go” when we walked in the door. I personally loved the kitchen and found it perfect for preparing our pasta feast for our post-graduation buffet. This was far superior to going out to eat and trying to find a restaurant with reservations for umpteen people. We also appreciated the notebook about Beaufort with the Marine base map on the front. That was a great help. And we loved being 5 minutes from the gate and agreed this was “as good as it gets.” I especially enjoyed the neighbor, Bertis Parker who walked up wearing his Rotary shirt. I am a Rotarian too and greeted him as such so he hugged me right away and we had much to talk about. He was so very nice to us and to our son. I apologize that I was distracted when we were talking to him before departure and did not turn the air conditioning up as we should have but believe everything else was in order. We got an extension cord for the sweeper and a broom which we were happy to leave behind. Did want you to know the skylight leaked during the storm a little and the sink in the hall’s sink stopper does not work. They were small things, but I thought you would want to know about them. I think a great selling point is how close the house is to the Bi-lo, a gas station, barbeque and the various shops including the Corps Store. I should have asked you about that in advance but Bi-lo was wonderful. We also found Wal-Mart down the other way which was great. This cottage is really well situated for amenities that we needed. Anyway, thank you so much for everything and for the special effort you have obviously made to make this a comfortable, relaxing place to stay. Warmest regards, Pat DonahueDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

This very attractive, comfortably appointed home was an ideal place for our extended family to be together as we celebrated our new Marine's graduation. From the moment we entered and found the personalized "welcome" sign in the foyer, we felt right at home. The freindly neighbors made us feel as if we had moved in to stay, and the proximity to the PI gate could not have been more convenient. We enjoyed the hammock, the shade trees, the handy kitchen, The wo nice living rooms, and the comfy beds. The handy laundry made keeping everyone tidy a breeze. We will recommend it to families of other recruits affiliated with our local recruiting office, and we will certainly call again if we have occasion to visit the area in the future. This is a fine value and a reservation you can make with complete confidence. Have a lovely stay.....and Godspeed to all our service members, wherever they are!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Hi Sally...just wanted to drop you a line while I am thinking of it. We were very pleased with the house. It had everything we needed and more. Your attention to all the little details made it that much easier after our "never ending" drive down there! It was a blessing to have all them little extra's available in the kitchen. And in the end we were glad to have the extra day to recooperae from our long drive and see the area a little. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to be hooking up with one of your places. We also know of two future graduates from Parris Island in the near future and will be passing your name along to them. Thanks again....Karen and Frank VentrellaDid you find this review helpful? Hi Sally, THANK YOU SOOOO Much for your hospiltality we received 4/6- 4/12. The house was perfect for our group of USMC Grad Family. We enjoyed 4 great days before graduation. And was perfect for our large group to relax and enjoy with our Marine before all had to depart in different directions after Grad. Everything about the house was great for us including being able to hear training at PI. Was the perfect touch for Marine families to hear and see the flares at night. You have really put alot of effort into making your guest comfortable and at home. Southern hospitality is all we have heard about. So glad w e stayed there. Unfortunatly we don't plan on visiting again anytime soon as our Marine has been shipped to San Deigo CA. but will be happy to recommend to anyone. Location, accomadations and endelless amenities were superb. From 2 famlies in New England Hospitality business- We rated it a 10. Thanks again- The Millers and BecklersDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Dear Sally Thank you so much for renting your house to us. Every family member thoroughly enjoyed the emenities of the home and the neighborhood. My Mom had a good time looking at the house. We were all so comfortable in your house. The home is large enough for all 13 of us to visit and spend good quality time together. It was great being so close to the base. My new Marine loved jogging here the morning after graduation. Again, Thank you very muchDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
