Our villa is one of 9 direct beachfront condos in the newly renovated Beachwood Place, a small complex located between Shorewood and Ocean One near Coligny Circle.
Our wonderful condo has many upgrades -- from a new LCD flat screen TV with DVD in the living area to granite countertops and new cabinets and appliances in the kitchen. Tile and berber carpet throughout and new bathrooms. We're a second floor end unit which means extra windows and lots of natural light in the living and kitchen areas. Lanai with table and chairs directly overlooks the pool and ocean. Large windows provide a full beach view from the living area and master bedroom.
Coligny Circle and its many restaurants, shops, coffee spots, and ice cream parlors are an easy 5 to 7 minute stroll. We're also located on one of HHI's many bike paths!
BEST OF ALL -- HHI's beautiful sandy beach is steps from your balcony! The ocean is typically calm -- great for kids -- and walk or bike on the beach for miles in either direction. Rate includes all linens and departure cleaning. Contact us for more photos!

I live in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina and manage our family's Hilton Head condo while also working as an independent policy research consultant, running my kids to various activities, and being an active volunteer at their school. Life is full and that's a good thing!
Why the Owner Chose Beachwood Place
My family has owned this property since 1994, and we have many wonderful family memories of vacationing on Hilton Head Island. Its lovely beach, combined with so many nearby things to do, have made our villa a perfect vacation spot. We particularly enjoy biking on the many miles of bike paths, as well as walking and running on the beach. My brother successfully completed an Iron Man triathalon in 2010 so he has undoubtedly logged the most miles! Since my kids are still young I enjoy the fact the ocean is usually pretty calm -- I can read my book on the beach with no worries!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We completely renovated our villa for the 2008 rental season and are proud of the job we did upgrading our place so nicely. I especially enjoy the new kitchen and the flat screen TV!

We stayed this July, 2010 for a week. This condo was perfect! It is so close to the beach, you can see the ocean from balcony. Wonderful in the morning w/ coffee! A short walk to beach, very nice pool right outside. Condo is adorable, clean, and owner gave excellent instructions.! Can walk to Coligny. We all want to go back.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time at Beachwood Place. This condo was very clean and well decorated. The new renovations are great! We were very close to the ocean. My young boys, ages 1 and 4, loved playing in the shallow expansive beach. It was a convenient location, very close to Coligny for shops, grocery store, ice cream, restaurants, etc. We had a wonderful family vacation and know we will be back!

We stayed over Labor day weekend - the weather, beach and place were delightful. Everything you need is within walking distance. We enjoyed the waves from Gustav, the pool was warm and nice. Clean condo, comfortable. The view from the balcony is spectacular - watching the sunrise each day, cup of coffee in hand. A truly delightful get away.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The condo was beautiful with a cheerful decor, large windows and very clean. The located was in the perfect spot to get to anything you may need, shopping, bike trails, the beach. We spent every morning eating breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean. It was a perfect vacation and we are already planning our next trip. It's a great place to stay.

Our kids went from the beach to the pool...From the pool to the beach--then back again! The beach access makes the place truly special. The condo itself has a wonderful view and is beautifully appointed. Island activities were just a quick walk or drive away. We had a great time!

This condo was perfect for my husband and I along with our two teenagers. We had easy access to the beach; where we spent alot of time walking and riding bikes(Bikes were alot of fun!). The layout of the place worked well and having two twin beds in the one bedroom made it comfortable for the kids. The place has been newly remodeled and was clean and nice.
