Casa Tumi at Las Moras is a private home on a private lot that provides a spacious, professionally designed home for families, couples or a "reunion group". The home is 1800 square feet and has a gourmet kitchen, private dining patio, and two separate living rooms,allowing for the comfort and quality of a large home experience. The development is gated with 24-hour security, walking/exercise paths and a large pool and clubhouse.

Our home is on the taxi or bus line or a car may be rented. We are 5 minutes to beaches, the Marina, Sam's and WalMart and 20 minutes to downtown. Special features include a 5 minute walk to the last remaining open air traditional market, filled with fresh caught fish, vegetables and food fondas. We are also 10 minutes from Pitillal, a traditional part of PV that offers lots of cultural adventures.

An English/Spanish speaking Property Manager greets you upon arrival and provides you with keys and entry to our home. The location provides a quiet peaceful stay that combines getting away from the "tourist scene" but with easy access to everything. The house was designed as non-allergenic; no toxic chemicals, pesticides, or fertilizers are used. A fenced yard and patio provides privacy.

We are both professors and have lived and worked in and around PV for over 30 years. This is our retirement home. Feel free to ask any questions. We enjoy introducing people to this wonderful town.

  • Las Moras is a wonderful enclave, handy to anywhere one would want or need to go, and so.....so....quiet. Casa Tumi is equipped with absolutely anything a vacationer might need.

  • Casa Tumi was a delightful experience for us! We felt a part of a community whilst there, and we were close to everything one could want in a clean, light, modern home with a/c for hot nights sleeping. We spent nearly five weeks in a city we already knew well, and we still wanted a few more weeks at the casa! We could choose to walk, take a bus or take a car, all very viable from Los Moras. We were comfortable and quiet at the end of each of the days exploring. The owner was wonderfully helpful and kind, as well as her many helpers, constantly available. Las Moras is on our short list of possible retirement places now; so if you understand the wonderful Mexican way of life, or want to learn something of it, Las Moras gives a true experience, away from the tourist traps/falseness.

  • I retired six months ago and wanted to live in Puerto Vallarta with my family. Casa Tumi was the perfect place for our little family to get situated while we looked around for a more permanent home. My wife loved the gourmet kitchen which had everything we needed. The beds are extremely comfortable and the split A/C units kept us cool at night. The flat screen TV was a bonus especially since we got all the cable channels. The wireless broadband allowed us to keep connected. We highly recommend Casa Tumi.

  • We echo the previous comments. We completely enjoyed our week here. Staying in a vital Mexican community added to the experience. We felt like we were living here and not just doing the usual tourista thing. People were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We loved the market, cooking in on occasion, and eating on the patio. Pitillal was terrific and the restaurant recommendations Leslie left were superb. We participated in several charitable events, including a tour of homes and botanical gardens, and a non-profit whale watching expedition. Walking to the beach, taking cabs anywhere we wanted to, just lounging around - it was perfect and we are anxious already to return!!

  • What a fabulous home away from home.We had such a wonderful time at the Casa Tumi.From the gourmet kitchen to the lovely patio we enjoyed it all.The sreened doors provided incredible air flow and kept you comfortable at all times.The bedrooms are nicely finished and beds are very comfortable.The pool area is very nice and relaxing.The location is very good.On a main bus and taxi route we had no problem getting to and from our destinations.Sam's and Wal-Mart are only a 10 minute walk from the house.The market with fresh fruit,vegetables,meat and fish is only about 5 minutes away.Great location would highly recommend the Casa Tumi to anyone.Scott

  • Loved the accomodations, especially the gorgeous yard for breakfast, convenient and modern kitchen, sunny rooms and spacious feeling. Everything I needed was there. The pool had a gorgeous view of the mountains, is lap-friendly and nearly private. Taking the bus into town was fast and easy. The market (within walking distance)is authentic. The price was very reasonable.

  • I had such a wonderful time staying here. The home is very nicely outfitted with everything one would want. The pools are fantastic. My bed, which initially looked a little unusual turned out to be the most comfortable I have ever slept on! There are buses every few minutes to take you to the Marina area or the Downtown or the Old Town. Very convenient while staying in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!
