If you're looking for a vacation get-away, you've found it! Leave chaos behind and truly relax in this peaceful, scenic destination. You'll enjoy a beautiful 100' wide white sand beach with your closest neighbor a long quarter of a mile away. Imagine waking to Lake Superior chorus of waves lapping upon your shore and the gentle breezes moving though the magestic pines. Lake Superior has the clearest, cleanest water on this continent. A picturesque sunrise greets you every morning. (If you choose to rise that early!)
Your scheduled vacation days will be filled with beach activities such as: boccie ball, horseshoes, swimming and simply relaxing. This beach gently slopes into the water providing an excellent swimming environment for children. Take a hike along the beach and to Louie's Point. You'll experience a true Northland nature wonderland. If you'd like to bring a boat, the launch is only 1.5 miles away (there is plenty of room for you to store your boat on the property).
Nightlife is amazing! Picture yourself seated at the blazing bonfire snacking on s'mores, gazing at the expansion northern sky alive with dancing stars. If you're lucky, you'll experience the beauty of the spectacular Northern Lights! Relax further in the comfort in the wood burning sauna. Finally, finish the evening gently swinging on the log swing overlooking the lake reminiscing of your day's adventures.
This lake home offers many great features and benefits for everyone. The main cabin has the master bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed. In addition there is a full kitchen with a dining table for four, indoor shower, bathroom, laundry-room with washer and dryer, comfortable sitting area and the Superior room. (Large open sitting room overlooking the beach and the Great Lake Superior) Just off of the main cabin is the awesome deck with outdoor dining and lounging chairs.
There is also a large garage with ping-pong table inside and a basketball hoop just outside. Above the garage is a guest house with a large open room that has two comfortable futons, sink and dorm-sized refrigerator. In addition there is a separate bedroom complete with a full-sized bed and a half bath. This is perfect for older children or guests to have a space of their own.
Finally on the property is the wood-burning sauna. Complete with running water, this large sauna can fit six adults comfortably. There is also a large changing room which is also used to keep all of the beach accessories.
