Granite counter-tops, maple cabinets and cherry wood floors make it your home away from home. Cozy up on the chaise lounge and watch the flames flicker in the electric fireplace or sip your coffee while watching the eagles dive and soar across the sky. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and for those who like to cook outdoors, a BBQ is provided. The suite has artwork made by local and Alaskan artists. This is a gorgeous vacation rental located in a beautiful wooded setting with towering cedar, hemlock and spruce trees in one of Ketchikan's most elegant neighborhoods. Take a quiet walk to the beach to watch boats, cruise ships and wildlife.
Wildlife viewing is encouraged from the spacious private covered deck, just outside your door. Gaze at the stars, listen to the crackling of the fire while you roast marshmallows at the fire pit. Take a short walk along the wooded trails in the back yard and pick blueberries and cranberries.
The kitchen has a coffee pot, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a large refrigerator with freezer. A large flat-screen television with cable television is mounted on the wall.
We do have plenty of parking, even for large RV's.
The suite is perfect for professionals or vacationers. We go out of our way to make sure your experience here in Ketchikan, Alaska is unforgettable.
WE ARE LOCATED NEAR THE BUS ROUTE. OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS LOCATED ON A HILL ABOVE THE BEACH WERE THE BUS STOP IS. IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO RENT A CAR, JUST KNOW THAT WE ARE ABOUT A 10 MINUTE WALK UP A HILL FROM THE BUS STOP. THERE ARE ALSO GENTLY SLOPING STAIRS THAT LEAD YOU TO OUR VACATION RENTAL. WE APOLOGIZE, BUT IT IS NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE.

Our location is minutes away from the heart of downtown Ketchikan, we're within walking distance of a wonderful beach, Saxman Totem Park and near a beautiful coastal bike trail. Our vacation rental is set in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Ketchikan.
Beautiful state of the art soccer/football field and running track.
Great place to watch eagles, cruise ships or even go fishing off the shore.

Southeast Alaska is beautiful! Soaring Eagle was perfect for my mother and my visit. Everything you could ask for was here. Diana was the perfect host with vast knowledge on the area. We so enjoyed the fresh BBQ'd oysters. Looking forward to our next visit.
