  We had an awesome time last year and plan to make this an annual trip. We call your villa “our vacation home”. We wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else!

  The owners of this place are absentee. Very absentee from England. From their VRBO description and their own website they are very proud of this place. They are depending on a local management company to keep their VILLA acceptable for a rental. Upon entering the smell of bleach was to reassure that it had been cleaned. There is a sign posted in the kitchen that the place hadn't been cleaned to GOVERNMENT standards. Whatever, that means. There were wet, used dish towels under the sink that hadn't been dealt with. I used the small bathroom 1st. The toilets all had paper "sanitized" strips across the seat. That toilet had NOT been cleaned and the hand towel properly placed had a LONG BLACK hair attached. Gave me an uneasy feeling so I collected all the towels and rewashed and checked the other toilets.Felt the towels had been fluffed in the dryer and not washed. More long black hair on the 2nd suite bathroom floor. Nice to have washer and dryer. The second day the smoke detector was beeping with a "low battery" alert. Was driving us crazy and the vaulted ceilings made it difficult to reach. I called the "management" company as we were instructed upon needing assistance. Received a voice mail. NO CALL was ever returned at the home or my cell. My husband finally used a broom, stood on living room chair to reset. We enjoyed the pool and were lucky enough to have good weather to use after our days of bicycling. Nice afternoon sun to have a swim and spa. Enjoyed sitting in the lanai with no fear of bugs. The owner may want to address a lanai ceiling screen that is pulled away from the metal. It can be seen from the spa. Possibly superficial vacuuming had been done but between furniture were candy wrappers, crumbs etc. The silk plants placed around to "warm" the VILLA were dusty so we moved them out of the eating areas. We had "hoped" we could get in early but the cleaning was still being done when we got there. Their website had warned us no entrance before 4. She walked out at 3:55 pm. Upon leaving she "shook" the door mat right on the step. Why not in the grass? We felt we got a good value for the space, location and pool. Very reasonably priced.

  Owner response: We are pleased that you found our villa to be spacious and reasonably priced and that you enjoyed the comfort of the lanai & pool. We are however disappointed that you have expressed some reservations that, had they been raised with us or the management company at the time, would have been swiftly resolved for you. The information booklet in our villa states that: "The villa has been cleaned and prepared for your arrival, however in the unlikely event that you find something amiss then please report it to the office within 24 hours so that we may rectify it.". As other reviews have shown, we have previously received very positive feedback about our local management company and the quality of our home.

  Judith & Gary, Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our Florida vacation at your villa. Everything was as advertised and more! The house and large pool were lovely, the neighborhood quiet, and we even had great blue herons on our doorstep. The management staff were welcoming and quickly responded to our needs.   We have had a fantastic holiday and a wonderful stay in the villa. Very convenient for all the parks, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

  What a wonderful stay we had in the villa. It was spacious,comfortable and had everything we needed. It was easy to get to all the parks, restaurants etc. After a long day out enjoying ourselves it was lovely to come back and relax and have a swim in the pool. I would highly recommend a stay here.

  Just a comment to say thanks for the opportunity of being able to stay in you home, the facilities were excellent & it was handy as our friends live just around the corner. All the amenities were very local & the neighbouring residents were very welcoming. (The only down point was the weather, it was a bit cold) so the local shops came in handy!! I have forwarded your details on to my work colleagues & family members, once again thanks for the use of the home.

  April 2010 - I can only recommend this villa which is in a great location for fairly quick access to all the Disney parks with plenty of local restaurants and shops within a short drive. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the villa was very clean, modern and really well equipped. We hadnt planned to stay for a month but a certain Icelandic volcano forced us to extend our stay - I am very grateful for your support during this difficult time and i cant think of a better villa to be stuck in!
