Our lovely condo is on the second floor directly overlooking the Sea Colony promenade, ocean dunes and beach. We are in the southernmost building where there is very little traffic or noise. Every year we add new appliances,furniture or other amenities to maintain our high rating. The unit has been recently upgraded with all new kitchen appliances, cabinets and counter tops, all new tile flooring, a completely remodeled master bathroom with tub and shower and new carpeting in each bedroom and den. The den/bedroom has a door for privacy and a TV/DVD player. It's the perfect place for kids to play their video games or watch TV while the adults enjoy the rest of the unit. The living room and master bedroom have flat screen TV/DVD players. Altogether there are three cable TV/DVD players in the unit. Of course, there is free Internet in the living room and Wifi everywhere else.
The kitchen is fully stocked. Renters only need to bring their own sheets, towels, cleaning and personal items, but we can arrange sheets and towels for a small extra charge.

It is very quiet in the evenings at the south end of the veranda, unlike in the middle of Sea Colony.

We stayed in August 2011 and had a wonderful time in this unit. Altogether there were 6 of us (my husband and me, my parents and my 2 children) and there was plenty of space. I slept on the pullout sofabed in the den and it was very comfortable!! Kitchen was well stocked. Beautiful view of the beach from the master bedroom and the living room/balcony. Easy access to the beach and pools. The parking space was also quite convenient! We had a minor problem during our stay, and between the owner and the rental company it was quickly resolved. Sea Colony has great amenities and is a great place for a family vacation. Overall, I could not give this condo a better recommendation--if I go back to Bethany Beach I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Some comments from the last two years: We had a wonderful time! What started out rainy and gray became warm, suuny, and exceedingly pleasant. Your condo is lovely, roomy, clean, beautifully decorated and fully stocked. The constant sound of the waves and swimming/walking the beach were soothing and energizing. Thanks. ....we are sad to be leaving. We love your condo - the frig is great and so many dishes. The games really brought back memories. Our kids found countless shells. Thank you for aharing your home. My niece and I are back at your home for our third Thanksgiving vacation.... We had a lovely time and I know we'll be back. It was our second time and we will come here every time we to the beach. We will suggest this to our friends.
