My husband and I stayed at the condo for 5 nights and had a great time! The view was amazing and one of the best restaurants in Cabo is just steps away (Sunset de Mona Lisa)...make sure to visit from 4-6 pm for free appetizers in the lounge. Solomon’s Landing was great as well!! I also had a wonderful massage from Allison (who lives in the complex). The private beach was a perfect getaway from the busy Medano beach and my husband loved the snorkeling. We took advantage of the free Vonage phone so we could keep in touch with our 2 year old daughter. That made it soooo much better! Thanks for a wonderful time

This unit was exactly as described...and the pictures don't do it justice. We had everything we needed for the perfect, relaxing vacation...right down to the beach chairs and cooler for our days spent on the secluded beach! (You'll want to bring snorkel gear...the snorkeling there is amazing.) We took cabs on the few nights we went into town...they are always available at the guard-gated entrance to Misiones. We enjoyed dining at both Maria Corona and La Fonda downtown. Maria Corona is within walking distance to the marina where there are a lot of shopping options. On the property we also enjoyed eating at Sunset Point Pizza/Wine Bar and at Puerta Vieja. Wal-Mart is about 2 miles away and offers any other groceries or staples you might need. Bob could not have been more helpful both before and during our stay. He met us when we arrived and showed us the features of the unit...he even had cold beer and water in the fridge for us! Thanks so much, Bob, for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of paradise...we'll definitely be back! Scott and Karen

My final comment to my co-workers before we left for our trip was "we'll see if reality is anything close to the 'demo'." This was our 25th anniversery trip so I was hoping the condo was going to be as great as it looked online. Well, it certainly was. The view is as advertised, if not better. We brought binnoculars and a long lens for the camera and got some great shots. The condo is well appointed in every way. The complex is very quiet. We went to the beach several days and always got a palpala(sp?) umbrella, one day it was just us and another couple. The beach is very close, maybe a two minute walk going down, a little longer coming back up. The snorkeling at the private beach is great. We discovered on the last day all you really have to do is walk in the water next to the rocks (where the kids play) and stick your face in the water. All kinds of cool fish right there, including an entire school of needle fish. We also saw an eel in this little cove. Speaking of trips to the beach, the condo is like "Ragu", "It's in there!" Beach chairs with staps for easy carrying, a cooler that's easy to carry, umbrella, extra sun tan lotion, sun burn cream, etc... basically if you needed something.... "it's in there." This goes for cooking utinsils too, even stuff like a drink shaker, wine glasses, rabbit cork screw, lime juicer, etc.. The free phone service to the USA was great, we used it alot. The Wi-fi worked great. We didn't even turn on the TV as the weather was perfect so we spent the evenings on the balcony. We brought our ipod and some portable speakers for the balcony, with that view, it's the only entertainment we needed. We asked Bob for a local restuarant and he turned us on to Pollo Oyo. All we could eat and drink for $20 including tip. So, while we discussed using the grill a couple of times, we just went to Pollo Oyo instead. Get the chicken fajitas -- to die for. We rented a car and had no problems. Cabo is a 7 minute drive. We parked at the big mall/marina parking garage for $1.50, it was very safe/cheap/ and everything was an easy walk from there. We kept missing Bob because we were always off enjoying Cabo, he did respond to our emails right away. Thanks again Bob, we hope to come back again soon.

Our trip started out badly but when I walked into the Condo I forgot all about all the problems - the view is to die for and the condo is more beautiful in person. Bob and Lynn keep it so clean - I couldn't find anything dusty or dirty - this comes from a compulsive cleaner! Make sure you make reservations if you want to go to the Mona Lisa, we didn't and could not get in but the Pizza/Wine Lounge upstairs is good also. The snorkeling at the private beach is very good just watch the rocks - no vendors here but you will find them on all of the public beaches - if you enjoy snorkeling go to Santa Maria. While you are here make sure you walk around San Jose and Todos Santos if you like seeing old architecture. The only pool open while we were there was the Main pool but it was sufficient as we spent most of our time on the beaches. If you are renting a car please be aware Mexico requires you take the full coverage insurance or they put a hold on your card for $3000+ depending on the agency. A time share guy will offer you money back if you go to a presentation - we did and lost 4 hours! Having a small car for 8 days cost us $200 (with the $150 off for the presentation) but we were able to come and go as we pleased. Overall we had a wonderful time and would stay at Bob's condo again! He was great about answering any question I asked and even left us beer and water in the refrigerator. The Walmart down the road was great for picking up liquor and food.

Just spent seven wonderful days in this condo. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Bob is really helpful . He sent us email info before we got there and it was spot on and very helpful. The condo is quite and peaceful . The pools are great and the private beach is easy to get to and very nice . You won't be bothered my the vendors like on the main beach in town. There are lots of things to do in town .. shopping to just hanging on the beach . We did the snorkeling cruise and the sunset which were both a great time . Would just recommend not doing both in the same day as we did. The front desk clerks are very helpful to organize your activities no pressure just helpful ( ask for Jose'). You are three miles out of town but taxis and buses are always around. Would not recommend walking . I like the heat but it's to hot to walk. As you can tell our experience was wonderful and plan on doing it again .

The condo and view are spectacular! We loved waking up every day to the arch and sounds of the ocean. We renewed our vows on Misiones' private beach which was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. The food, the people, everything was more than we could have asked for in a vacation. It was nice to be away from the crowds in hotels and public beaches, and actually relax for a week. We look forward to making this an annual tradition from here on out. Thanks Bob and Lynn!

This condo is exactly as described in the listing and much much more. It has everything you need and the views from the balcony really are amazing. The location is perfect, close enough to San Lucas to enjoy the hustle and bustle of town yet far enough away to relax and enjoy the private beach and pools. Coming from a couple of Canadians who like to have the odd glass of wine and play a tune on the guitar, the condo and the area allowed us to have one of our best vacations ever. Thanks Bob and Lynn

"Bob's Cabo" was such a refreshing experience! My daughter and I spent Christmas there this year, which turned out to be the most relaxing holiday ever...the condo is beautiful and we felt immediately at home. Between the well-tended grounds, beautifully maintained pools, swim-up bars, poolside food and our comfortable full kitchen, we felt little need to spend much time at all running to town. The view from the spacious deck is spectacular all day, with awesome sunset views as well; it all made for a totally restful and refreshing atmosphere. If you need to unwind, this is the place to go! Thanks Bob and Lynn for this immaculate and beautiful setting! We hope to return again, soon and often.

This was a great place to stay, very quiet, comfy, view to drink for..from every room. If you were on the ball you could have a shower and watch the cruise ships come in! Pools were very nice, never too crowded. Swim up bar was fun, Aramando was the very friendly bartender and sometimes cook if you wanted some tacos or breakfast. The Misiones complex is close enought to town and WalMart, Costco etc that it was easy to make a quick trips too. I would recommend renting a car, taxis will cost you a rental car fee if you like to head out everyday. Thanks Bob and Linda for a very comfortable place to stay, it was nice to meet you and we WILL be back! ......sans the Don Julio...

When I go on vacation I am usually very picky on cleanliness and high end amenities. This condo was immaculate and had it all! Granite counters tops, all of the good cable channels, awesome balcony with a grill, good sheets, walk in shower etc etc etc. The US telephone that was available was awesome too! We could talk to our relatives whenever we wanted without messing with our cell phones. The view from this unit is undeniably the BEST in Cabo. You can see the arch right from the balcony. I would definitely recommend renting a car. I was hesitant since I had never been to Cabo, but I will for sure get one next time. Love this unit and will go back for sure!

My husband and I have been to Cabo many times, and stayed at many different places...but this is BY FAR the best place we have ever stayed! The condo has it all, was quiet and peaceful, the views were amazing and even though we never got a chance to actually meet Bob, he took care of us from start to finish. The short trip down through the beautiful grounds and the stairs took us to the private little beach where the snorkeling, sunning and relaxing were sheer bliss. Not once did we not feel safe and welcomed by everyone, and we even ventured through the desert and down Medano beach to a favorite spot of ours, Tabasco's.If you are looking for a couple's get away where you choose to do nothing but chill out and relax, this is the perfect place! Thank you Bob for all of the information, cold cerveza & water upon arrival, Vonage & satellite tv, and for just all the special touches you put into the place. We loved it so much we hope to book for next year, same time!! If anyone would like to see our photos or ask us anything, please just send me an e-mail....

We just returned from staying 5 nts at Bob's Casa. It's a great condo with beautiful views from the wrap around patio, as well as from inside the unit. It's a very quiet area, which we did enjoy most of the time. When we were ready to have more noise and excitement we just headed to town or Medano Beach, both are a short drive or cab ride from the unit. Bob & Lynn even had cold beers in the frig for us when we arrived which really hit the spot. It's very nice and a great value.

I contacted Bob prior to booking and he was so helpful. Then I contacted him again just prior to our trip - and again extremely helpful. Everyone at the property were very accommodating and made us feel right at home. I have already recommended this place to several friends and we will definitely contact Bob again should our travels bring us back to Cabo. Thanks Bob for the wonderful experience!

Hello!! We visited Bob's condo in May for 12 days and just had a fabulous time!!!! In fact, so much so we want to go back!!!! Now! Really this condo has it all so you dont feel you are out of the country. It did make a huge diffference to us at least that he had Sat TV, DVD, stereo etc... Vonage to call home for work etc..... Most condo's we saw in the area didn't have all of those things- maybe had 2-3 stations mostly in Spanish - and if we are staying 12 days we can't be in the sun the WHOLE time!!! As the other reviewers said, he has cold beer waiting for you when you arrive and the place is just how it looks in the pictures. Next time I would not bring as many clothes - as the washer and dryer in the unit were great!!! Also all of Bob's tips when you book - the condo -of Cabo and the area are wonderful and I have been there before - thanks Bob for all the hidden gems!!! Bob has towels for you, beach chairs, a really great BBQ, and lovely patio furniture to sit out and look at the water. Best tip was to take cracker crumbs put in water bottle with water and let go in the ocean in the private swimming beach that is there - Fish Galore!!! Nothing to do with the condo but ... For those of you going down there the only caution I have for you is the car rental scam that goes on - check the fine print - the insurance in Mexico (and cannot be covered on American Express etc..) will double the price of your car rental. Still trying to figure out what to do for next time since we love the flexibility of going to the store etc... We had to sit through a Time Share thing just to get the price back to what we had booked it at! Made us really mad. If I had a wish for Bob's condo to add when economic times get better - it would be for a dishwasher and oven .... (or maybe a large toaster oven at least to start?) The rest of the kitchen was LOVELY and had everything you needed - we are cooks so that is important to us! Thank you again Bob for your wonderful Condo!!

We loved the condo and the view was to die for. We spent many hours on the deck watching the boats and cruise ships coming and going. It was great to have a BBQ to use and the kitchen had all the essentials. Very comfortable bed and we choose to listen to the waves crashing most nights with the slider open. The pool area was very nice and we enjoyed the swim up bar and lots of friendly people. Thank you for a great get away from the crowds!

The two pools were great to use, and downtown was a 3 mile trip away. Bob was very helpful with the information he gave us prior to the trip and he checked in on us to make sure we were doing well :-) Two thumbs up, and if I had more thumbs, I would use them too!

Bob is a wonderful host and the condo is absolutely gorgeous. We had cold beer and water waiting for us and Bob hooked us up for some deep sea fishing. The condo has all the amenities as advertised and the view is indescribable. Its probably one of the best views of the arch in Cabo. One side of the resort has a nice quiet beach and cove for snorkeling and sunbathing and the other side has a local surfing location called Monuments. There are two beautiful pools and the resort staff and neighbors were very friendly and helpful. We would suggest renting a car as cabs can get expensive and we found that Misiones was too far out of town for walking or taking public transportation. We will return! Thanks Bob!

Bob's Casa was a terrific place to stay. The accommodations were exactly as portrayed on VRBO. The condo is beautiful, comfortable and private!I wish it was mine. After a day long trip to get there, it was so nice to have cold cervezas in the fridge, courtesy of Bob and Lynn. Because it's in the corridor and taxis cost $15 each time you go to town, I would suggest renting a car, but the driving in Cabo can be painful! I think the view of the Arch and Cabo at night would be impossible to beat at any other resort in Cabo. If you want a party atmosphere, pick a place near the marina or Medano Beach, but if you want peace and quiet, like sitting on a veranda enjoying a cocktail while experiencing an incredible 180 degree view, two great pools, helpful answers at the desk, and friendly, welcoming residents, stay at Bob's Casa. You won't regret it.

We stayed at Bob's Casa July 12-18, 2009 and had a marvelous time. We agree with all the wonderful comments. My husband enjoyed the golf and I found the most best spa for massages, pedicures, manicures and hair. It was called SENZA and was very close to the condo, just back to the highway and to the right about 1 block. It was reasonable too. We look forward to returning again and will share this experience with others.

We honeymooned in Bob's condo in May, 2009. What a tremendous experience! We arrived to a bottle of chilled champaign, compliments of Bob. We had used the shopping service (highly recommended) and found all of our food and beverages requested in the condo when we got there. All there was left for us to do was enjoy this beautiful property. We enjoyed the lanai and the great views from it. We had breakfast every morning looking out over the Sea of Cortez and Land's End. Amazing! Evening cocktails were even more enjoyable than usual with that backdrop. There are no better views anywhere in Cabo! Bob has done a great job seeing to every detail. From the shopping service to the cookware, bar supplies, beach equipment, all you need to do is show up! Bob was also very accessible via e mail and telephone, answering all questions and concerns in a prompt manner. He sends you a packet of information prior to your trip that not only preps you for the condo, but helps you navigate Cabo. We had a great honeymoon in Bob's condo! We would recommend it to anyone!

Very nice place at a great price. We enjoyed our 16th anniversary and never stopped admiring the view. I took some killer sunset photos right off the deck..gonna get them framed so we can live the experience over and over. Never got a chance to meet Bob but we communicated over the phone and by e-mail even from the condo. He left us some tuna in the freezer to cook on the grill...man, was it ever good...kept a hot pink center to keep it juicy. Great memories. Only advice...don't try to walk to Cabo on the beach without packing a lunch and lots of water. Also, wear sturdy hiking boots and gloves to get over the rocks and snow shoes to walk on the sand. Ok, so if you're not in your 60's like us then it's just a stroll in the park and you can go for it. It's an adventure but be careful. If you are over 60 my advice is to learn to ride the buses. For only US$1.00 you can ride to Cabo, to Sam's Club, Walmart, or Costco. I recommend visiting the bakery at Walmart...it's hard not to grab every pastry in sight.

Bob is a gracious and very friendly host. We were greeted with some cold cerveza and agua in the fridge. The condo was impeccable, and with more amenities than you could ask for. We didn't use the phone or internet, but it was comforting to have free direct U.S. calls available. At Bob's condo, you definitely felt like you were at your home-away-from-home. Bob provided us with all the information we needed on the resort and downtown. The weather was quite warm but dry and with a cool breeze… no need to close up at night. The wrap-around balcony's epic panoramic view of Land's End and the Arch is simply stunning. We knew the view was nice from the online pictures, but were totally blown away in person. The mesmerizing ocean view was visible from practically every point in the condo, from the shower to the bed. The first afternoon we enjoyed some mixed drinks and fish tacos from the friendly staff at one of the swim-up palapa bars, followed by a late afternoon nap to the lull of the ocean waves. The next day we “bit the bullet” and attended a timeshare tour at a resort recommended by our Advantage rental car rep, for which we received some free gifts and a $150 voucher towards our rental car, which wound up being a mere $30 for the whole trip, making the 75-minute "sales promo" worth it. We also took an afternoon trip to Todos Santos, which has lots of great art galleries, as well as San Jose del Cabo. The food was spectacular as well. I highly recommend dinner at "Mi Casa" in downtown Cabo, which has a wonderful ambiance and mouthwatering menu. The chicken molcajete was also worth the visit to "Squid Roe". The worst part about staying at Bob's Condo is having to leave! We'd definitely like to return, and will be recommending it to our friends and family.

Thank you Bob for letting us enjoy one week in paradise at Missiones. The minute we opened the door and entered we were taken aback by the view of the ocean and Los Arcos. The breeze was gentle and we never needed air conditioning. The updated kitchen and spacious bathroom were just perfect. All the information you provided us prior to our arrival was very informative and answered all our questions. We enjoyed three rounds of golf by using the EZlinks website and got discount rates. The pool area was relaxing and well kept. Thanks for having the Vonage phone to use so that we could call the States for free and visa versa, that was great. My husband missed his Fox News, but the TV was just fine with me! You have done a great job with this rental and I highly recommend it for a relaxing no stress vacation to Cabo. It is located close enough to town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. I also recommend renting a car as we did. We did have an issue with Alamo when we returned the car, but worked it out satisfactorily. We will return! Kim and Bob Quinn

This place is the very definition of "pleasant". It's even nicer than it looks in the photos. If you want to relax, look at a spectacular view and sleep like a rock listening to the ocean at night, this is it. Immaculate, peaceful, incredible balcony. Swim-up palapa bar was wonderful. I've never had a bad experience with VRBO and this one ranks right up there with the best if not better.

From Neil and Jo-Anne - Just wanted to say thanks to Bob for making our first vacation in Cabo very pleasurable. The condo was absolutely spotless, with every amenity we could want and the views were fabulous - we have some great pictures from the patio! The resort was very peaceful and because we were there in the off-season, most days we had the pool to ourselves. Thanks again and when we make it back to Cabo again we will be renting Bob's beautiful condo.

Dear Bob,Just a few lines to say how much we enjoyed our time at Bob’s Casa in Cabo, July 17 to the 31, 2007.The apartment was perfect. It was extremely well equipped with microwave, washer/ dryer, and gas BBQ. The kitchen had all of the dishes, utensils, and silverware anyone could need (and more!).It was a REAL home away from home, with a magnificent view of Cabo bay and Lands End, and no domestic hassles!Bob was a generous host. We were greeted with a welcome pack of cerveza and water in the fridge. And Bob was always just a phone call away to answer queries and questions.Misiones del Cabo has a charming relaxed feel. With two beaches, two pools, 2 restaurants, and a club on the property, you hardly had to leave. But we would suggest getting out. We rented a car our whole visit, and I highly recommend that. Misiones is ideally located to travel anywhere in the Cabo area. You can find anything you want within an easy drive. The excitement of resort style eating and nightlife, a laid back Mexican village, or a beautiful clean beach with clear water to plop down under your beach umbrella. We had wonderful tranquil vacation, and we can't wait to go back again. We spent a delightful two weeks here in June 2007. The unit is beautiful and spotless. The pool is wonderful and we enjoyed lunches and drinks there. The view is without compare. Beautiful vistas filled with ships. Bob had beer and water in the refrigerator when we got there which was an extra bonus. We loved it all!

First visit to Cabo was an absolute delight by finding Bob's Casa. The unit is as tastefully decorated as stated in the outline, but the view is without a doubt spectacular. We spent many hours enjoying the deck and watching the ocean as it changes daily. Each day, new cruise ships appeared on the horizon, and departed nightly as we toasted their arrivals and departures with some great wine and cerveza's. The pool side is a great place to relax in the sun and enjoy a pleasant dip. We had several meals at the pool bar, and they were well prepared with great service. We would recommend Bob's Casa to anybody, for a wonderful relaxing vacation.

We stayed at Bobscabo for two weeks in April to escape the last of a very long Canadian winter. The condo is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The view is spectacular! We spent many hours just sitting on the deck enjoying the view of the bay and watching the action. Everything lives up to promise and we will definitly return. Car rental is available on site and worth spending the money on for trips to Todos Santos, San Jose and best of all Santa Maria Bay for a day of snorkeling.

Dear Bob, This was our first visit to Cabo San Lucas. We spent the last week of January and the first week of February there. We didn't want to leave. We have visited many vacation spots around the world and Cabo, Misiones, and "Bob's Casa" rate right at the top. We loved the spectacular sunsets, the whale watching, falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and on a couple of occasions, waking up to sound of a barking sea lion on the beach. The condo had all the comforts and amenities of home, plus the beautiful setting. Being able to call home was such a nice perk and gave us peace of mind. Everyone at Misiones was so helpful and ejoyable. It was especially nice getting to meet Bob & Lynn. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for making our winter vacation perfect. Jerry & Gemma
