Just got back from 5 days with 12 golf guys. The house was perfect for us - 12 single beds, lots of room in the house and never felt crowded. The hot tub was actually hot and good size. We stayed in most nights and cooked after golfing at some great courses in the area and the kitchen was perfect. The owner was great and we look forward to returning next year.

.this definitely a spacious property but in need of some definate TLC. The grounds need much repair and the inside needs some serious cleaning. I took my family here to spend my son's possible final christmas and was discussed with the filth inside the house. The dishes in the cupboards and dishwasher were all dirty. Had to wash and bleach them all. The food cupboards were filthy and didn't even use them. Don't think the stove has been pulled out and cleaned behind for years. We were moving beds around to suit our needs and found feces wrapped in paper towel under one bed. Had to replace 10 light bulbs in the house and outside. Didn't have water for almost 2 days in the house. Seems a plumber had been in to fix a leaking tap and didn't turn the water back on. As we arrived on a holiday didn't get ahold of anyone the first night. This might be a great guy place but wouldn't take my family back for anything

I also wanted to respond to your critique which primarily consisted of instances in which some additional cleaning or TLC was needed around the house. I appreciate your review but I am very sorry that this is the first I am hearing of these issues and you did not try to contact me at all when you first arrived or at any time during your stay. I have a property manager and a professional cleaning company that I employ to make sure the home is in tip top shape after each rental and any issues are addressed prior to the next group's arrival. If you had contacted me at any time I would have had my property manager meet with you at the house to address every issue and to make arrangements for the cleaning service to come out and re-clean the home to your satisfaction. I, like you, expect the home to be ready for your arrival and there is no excuse for the home not being at it's best from the get go. I have already met with my property manager and our cleaning company to make sure all of these items have been addressed and this is not repeated. Thanks again for your feedback.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for and the price was right. 12 guys going out for the FBR Phoenix Open and a golf weekend and it couldn't have been better. Everything you need for a guys weekend...billiards, ping pong table, putting green, hot tub, 12 beds, nice size TV, plenty of seating, great grill. Really close to at least 4 golf courses too. While our family had a great time together over the holidays at this property, I must say the grounds were in need of some serious repair.The pictures of the yard are NOT what the property is actually. The interior is acceptable but also needs some update and repair. i.e cracked tile, fireplace not working (no grate) pool unable to be heated. There are only THREE bathrooms and not four. It may suffice for a men's golf party or college kid get together but for a family from beautiful updated properties it leaves much to be desired. Definitely negotiate the price....

Our group bounced around the Scottsdale area for years until we finally found just the right place. This is our third year at The Oasis and the location and setting make it the perfect spot for us. The bed and bathrooms, which easily accommodate our twelve golfers and the common areas, both inside and out, include everything we need and lots of things you wouldn’t expect to find. Not needing to worry about bringing anything except for what we need to eat and drink and a first class cleaning service makes all the difference between The Oasis and other places we’ve tried.

I just thought the house was great. It was very spacious and had absolutely everything you could want for a party of 12 golfers. Not one person in our group had one complaint, we all can't wait to get back. This was what you told us it would be plus more. We all really had one of the best trips ever, the golf was great but the house made it.

We rented this house for a week in June for our annual buddy trip for golf in the Arizona sun. This house was set up perfect for our group of 10 guys from all over the country, plenty of beds and plenty of room. When we arrived the lights for the putting green were on, poker chips were out and ready, pool lights were on and the water feature running, and best of all, the A/C was already kicking. (The downstairs gets alot cooler in the summer, so get dibs on those rooms if you can). We felt welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table and poker table as well. I would definitely recommend this house for this kind of trip especially. Close to golf and in a nice quiet area. We may have finally found our permanent home away from home after 6 years of searching!

Golf Trip to the Arizona Sun

My group of friends have just completed our 3 consecutive year of staying at the Oasis. This past year in April of 2010 was our best stay yet!! Over the years the accomadations have improved every time. We had nice new patio furniture, a great new Hot Tub, a nice new putting green surface and a clean gas grill! The inside of the home was spic-n-span clean, better than ever! We had all the ammenities that we needed including a blender, bowls, pans, can openers, untensils. We used the kitchen and the grill every night and prepared meals for 12 and everytime we looked for something we needed, it was there! The coffer pot worked great and there was plenty of essentials there to start our stay. We had pletny of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and plenty of bathrooms for 12 guys to use without feeling cramped. The owner was very helpful every year we were here to make sure we were comfortable and they didn't have to do anything for us this year! There was even a couple of nice big coolers left in the garage for our use! We have stayed in other facilities in Scottsdale and this is the best place without a doubt!

Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We were here for a 2 week stay June/July 2009 and we would most definitely not recommend this property. Firstly, it does not have 4 bathrooms as listed - there are 3 bathrooms. Yes, it has beds for 12 people to sleep but if they push the beds together to make Kings you will not get any extra bed linen. 3 wardrobes don't have doors and, if you use the upstairs main bedroom don't expect a door to the room! The property, although clean, has been seriously neglected over the years and is nothing like the main photo - the grass is barely visible and certainly not green, the golf tees are raised 2inches above ground so don't even think about playing golf, the outside bbq was caked in food and grease when we were there making it unusable, the horseshoes were rusted and the sandpit filthy, the basketball was punctured and the outside tables and chairs we had to hose down before using as they were full of food and ants! We had travelled from the UK for 2 weeks holiday, for rest and relaxation - it was definitely a holiday to be quickly forgotten, a lot of hard work and a waste of time and money!

Owner response:I was very sorry to hear about the issues raised in this review. More than anything I was sorry that the Terry did not try to contact me during his stay. I take great pride in making sure my home is not only clean but provides all of the amenities listed. I had my property manager go over to the home immediately following his comments which we did not get until he went home. There were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed which were immediately fixed (cleaning the BBQ and the outside patio furniture). Some of his other issues were not correct at all (basketball was fine and horseshoes were fine). The grass was not green because in the summer all the grass burns out except for golf courses that water it constantly. The one issue he had that I did fix was the Putting Green. It was getting a bit old and worn out so I just replaced the entire putting green with a new 2 tiered, 8 hole putting green that is fun and challenging. I installed this in September 2009.
