This was our first visit to Pensacola. It was beautiful! We even manged to dodge storm DEBBY while we were here !! We loved the condo. It was just the perfect size for us. We met several nice people at the pool too. We hopped the trolley and went down to the Boardwalk several times. HOW CONVIENENT! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

The condo was great, even better than the photos here depict!! We had a wonderfully relaxing month of October here. Loved that every window in the place offers a view of the water. The weather was perfect and we were able to sleep with the balcony doors open, lulled to sleep by the sound of the Gulf waves. My favorite thing about this condo was the huge balcony; since this is a corner unit, the balcony runs around the entire length and width. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and every cooking implement imaginable. (For me, there's nothing more aggravating than arriving at a rental property to find only a scratched up teflon skillet and a baking sheet. Been there, done that.) The gated property is very well maintained and always felt safe. The pool was the largest I've seen at a condo complex, plenty of nice comfy chairs. The water was a little chilly for my liking but our daughter and her friend didn't seem to mind at all. If you're in the Pensacola area, check to see if the Blue Angels are doing their practice flights at the air base. The show is a little early but well worth getting up for..and it's free, too! =) Fort Pickens is another site not to miss, it's just down the road from the condo. When you pay the entrance fee ($6 for a car, I think) you're given a pass that'll get you in all week long. We loved our time at this condo and can't wait to visit again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Tony - We just returned from your unit and wanted to drop you a line to say that we loved the place! Spotlessly clean, spacious, and with tons of little extras that make it feel like home. This was our first 'three generation trip' and we were a little apprehensive. It was the perfect place for everyone though! My 90 year old mom-in-law loved working your jigsaw puzzles and sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool. Our 2 year old grandson liked to play in the sand by the calmer waters of the bay behind the condo and we most enjoyed strolling up to Peg Leg Pete's in the afternoon. We'll definitely be staying with you in the future and will recommend your condo to friends. About the owner: Yes, that is me in the picture to the left with my catch of Red Snapper. A number of years ago, my employer offered me an opportunity to relocate to the Pensacola area from the Northeast. I always dreamed of living on a beach and this offered me that opportunity. Never did I realize what a special place Pensacola Beach is. From the whitest sand of any beach in the world,to dolphins jumping up from the Gulf in joy; Pensacola is a unique place. This is my opportunity to share with you a piece of that dream.
Why the Owner Chose Tristan Towers:
I originally bought this condo as my home when my employer offered me a position in the area. I chose Tristan Towers because it is perfectly located. It is on the western end of Santa Rosa Island, just far enough away from the more densely tourist area but only minutes away from the hub of restaurants and night-life. You can truly appreciate the beauty of the Gulf from this section of the island. I love the place so much I could not part with it; even after my work required me to relocate once again. I have found the vast majority of my guests to be respectful of the condo and they treat it as their own vacation home. I am appreciative of the many conversations I have had with my guests and the friendships I have developed.

Relaxation, this condo is located in an area that offers the solitude that only nature can bring. Stroll along the beach, enjoy the Olympic size pool or the beautifull tennis facilities. This condo has views of both, the Gulf & Sound. Relax at Tristan's private soundside beach area or enjoy a sunset from our pier. At the same time, the area has numerous activities from jet sking to sky diving, great golf courses and the best fishing in the Gulf region. I particularly enjoy booking a charter boat to fish for Red Snapper. Local restaurants offer great Gulf Seafood and Peg Legs serve the best baked oysters in the universe. The Naval Air Museum is a must see visit and the Blue Angels air shows are awesome.
