Relax and enjoy the beach, try your luck at the nearby fishing pier, or take a 20 minutes drive to historical Charleston with its many fine restaurants, historical sites, gardens, and forts. Shops and Malls in nearby West Ashley. Public boat ramp with parking less than one mile. Golf course is less than ten minutes on nearby James Island. Other famous golf courses nearby. Folly is the perfect beach for all ages.
This townhouse is very tastefully decorated...the color scheme is totally in tune with the beach. Large patio doors from the main living area and the master bedroom lead to a private covered porch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and a beautiful beach. Drink your first cup of coffee in the morning as the sunrises and enjoy your last favorite drink watching a moon-lite ocean.

Thank you and the owners of that beautiful townhome we stayed in at Folly Beach for making our trip a wonderful experience. It was beautifully furnished and decorated and it was perfect for our family to stay in. We enjoyed being right on the beach and yet so close to Charleston. We took the short drive to Charleston a couple of times to enjoy activities downtown. We also took a dinner cruise in the bay from Patriot's Point. The Folly Beach location was very convenient to all that Charleston has to offer and we had a wonderful time with many great memories. We had one rainy day and the grandchildren enjoyed staying in and playing some of the many games that were so graciously provided. We would certainly love to stay in the townhome if we ever get the opportunity to visit Charleston again in the future.
In closing, we want to thank you both for being so easy and accommodating to work with. It was overall a very positive experience.

My extended family gathered for a Charleston wedding, and the three units that can be rented together were our accommodations. What a wonderful setting! The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated, with everything anyone could want. The beach is right out the back, just steps away. We all enjoyed sitting on the porch and sipping coffee while watching people on the beach and listening to the waves. It feels as though you are on the beach when you are sitting on the porch/balcony. We opened our balcony door from the master bedroom at night, to sleep while listening to the gentle sounds of the waves. It was amazing. Another thing we all loved was the easy access to Charleston. It is a straight shot into the city from Folly, and only takes minutes by car. What could be more perfect than a beach vacation alongside the historic, beautiful city of Charleston?Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks so much for your comments Cindy. We look forward to you staying again. Debbie & Michael

What a pleasure it was to stay in this beautiful townhome on Folly Beach. We stayed there during the Christmas holidays and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is one of the most well decorated and well appointed beach homes I have ever stayed at! They had everything we seemed to need and more! We really enjoyed using the bikes to explore the island. There were games to play, books to read, wireless internet and several TV's. It was quite cold during our stay, so we appreciated the extras. The manager, Michael was very easy to work with and helpful when we needed more blankets. We especially appreciated the elevator as our son uses a wheelchair. We would love to come back during the warmer months and look forward to booking this unit again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks so much for your comments Carolyn. It was good meeting you and your family. We look forward to your return. Debbie & Michael

Our recent stay was very relaxing and enjoyable! This was our 3rd stay at folly beach, 1st at this unit, and we would certainly return. The unit was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It was just as it looked in the photos. The instructions for arrival/departure were very easy. We loved the location to the beach and town. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, taking in the views of the ocean and beach. Although the kitchen is very well equipped, we enjoy the many resturants in town, and being able to walk everywhere. We love Lost Dog and Loggerhead to name a few. A new favorite is now Woodys Pizza. The white pizza was outstanding (we got take out, and ate on the balcony). We can't wait to get back to Folly Beach. Lori & RichOwner response: Thanks so much for your review Lori & Rich. Family reunion was a hit! Everyone loved the townhouse. It was very comfortable and clean. We walked right down the stairs and the beach was right there. There were seven of us and we all were very comfortable in our sleeping arrangements. Look forward to returning.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

This is our 4th or 5th time staying at your home. We love that the kitchen is fully stocked which makes one of our favorite meals that much easier. We like to cook cheese grits and prepare fresh cole slaw. Then we go to Dave's Carry Out to buy shrimp platters or seafood platters (depending upon how hungry we are). We come back and enjoy our meal, while taking in the amazing view of the ocean from the dining table at the condo. I have a broken leg right now (running injury) so I appreciate that this condo is handicapped accessable. The elevator made the stay easier. The walk to the beach is so close...that I could still make it ..even with a stress fracture. The condo is spacious for my family of 5, but could easily accomadate a larger family. The internet access and cable are a bonus for rainy days. We will be staying again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: Rachel & Russell, Thanks so much for your comments. We look forward to your return. Take care, Debbie & Michael

The condo was very spacious and had all the amenities you'll need for nice relaxing stay at Folly. The condos are situated in front of public beach access, so walk is VERY short to ocean..walk out of condo, cross road, BOOM you are crossing dunes onto beach. Owners had bikes available as well as let us have access to owner's storage (few sand chairs, beach sports items), all linens included so less extra weigh to load in/load out..BEAUTIFUL wide beach..lots of beach even at high tide...easy quick drive to historic Charleston..WELL WORTH A DAY spent seeing the city...I'm not crazy about a 10:00am check out....still on vacation time, I prefer 11:00am esp for us older gals..:)Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, people with disabilities, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks so much Cindy. We hope to hear from you again. Michael

Michael, I have been meaning to sit down and jot you a few lines about how wonderful our visit was to Folley Beach and the Ocean Pointe Condos. The houses and location was just perfect. We had a fantastic time. I do wish I would have sprung for the 3rd house as we had 2 full houses but it all worked out. There was only a few nights when everyone was there. We will be renting 107 for a week in May and both units for a week in July. I will let you know in the next few weeks and check availability with you as soon as I know our plans. Like I said, these units were fantastic. I really enjoyed the location to the city. We walked for coffee at the fabulous "black Magic" every morning and had happy hour at the "taco boy" every evening. We ate out one night at the "sand bar" (walked there and back) and even went into Charleston in no time at all to enjoy the flavor of the city. I had vacation depression when I returned to Texas! Thanks for helping me make such a great decision - which as you know I was doing blindly! Regards, Mary Jean and Kevin Murphy and extended family!Did you find this review helpful? Michael, where do I begin. Our big family stayed in your 3 Townhomes last week and it was absolutely wonderful. We could not have asked for better accomodations. We have stayed in many of the rentals on Folly Beach over the years and we must say that these were the very best that Folly has to offer. There was absolutely not one complaint and we had a lot of people. As in the descriptions for these condos , the owners definitely out did themselves on decor. They were all just beautiful. If we can ever get everyone together again, we will defintely stay here again. Thanks again for you wonderful hospitality.
