A little piece of paradise - only 45minutes from Orlando. Our stay at Minorca by far exceeded our expectations. We were expecting the "standard" condo unit - WRONG! At first we thought we were in the wrong unit. We thought it was the model. Professionally decorated, spacious, well appointed and IMMACULATE. The attention to detail was amazing. Everything from the full sized kitchen that was fully equipped with up-to-date appliances and cookware, wonderful bedding, fluffy towels (they even thought of beach towels).The walk- in laundry room was decorated. The only thing we needed to provide were our groceries! The "view" from the balcony was spectacular! The ocean, inlet and lighthouse were in full view. Mesmerizing. The pools, tennis courts and fitness center were in great condition. Minorca even has a pool table at the clubhouse. We loved the location of Minorca - only a few miles from downtown New Smyrna. Great restaurants, friendly people. There is always something going on at the beach. Kudos to the owners! They were friendly, helpful and eager to see to our needs. Would we rent this particular unit again? ABSOLUTELY! Minorca is PARADISE!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This was our first stay in NSB and won't be our last. We loved our stay in this beautiful condo and can't say enough great things about it. The owners were wonderful to deal with right from the initial contact to after we left. We felt completely comfortable at this beautiful condo which had the most spectacular views of the ocean, Ponce Inlet and the Intercoastal Waterway. The place is as described, very well maintained, close to restaurants and other activities. We have spent many years vacationing in Ponce Inlet and are very happy that we decided to venture 'down the beach'. We highly recommend this property to anyone searching for that perfect beach stay. We hope to be able to return next April!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, tourists without a car.

Our month at Minorca and Susan's condo exceeded our expectations. The condo was beautiful, wonderfully decorated, and clean. The rooms are a very nice size, the kitchen is exceptional, bathrooms are amazing, and the view... wow the view! From the master bedroom or outside on the balcony the view of the Dunes State Park, river and ocean is amazing. We spent a lot of time at the pool(s) and community center, and can't imagine that you would find any nicer amenities anywhere!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+.

My family stayed at this property for the month of June in 2009, and it was second to none. Minorca itself is the premier location in New Smyrna for its security, three pools, beachfront location, fitness room, tennis courts and immaculate grounds. The development is relatively new, compared to the rest of the rentals at the beach. You won't find low ceilings, corroded balconies or seafoam green carpeting here. There are many rentals within Minorca however, and you might find it difficult to decide which is the best unit to rent. Let me explain why I firmly believe this is the unit you want. The owners are incredibly easy to work with, are local, and are professional. They take personal pride in their condominium, and if there is any kind of an issue, from a lost key to a broken ice machine, they will resolve it promptly. The unit itself has a unimpeded view of both the ocean and the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, and is located on the top floor. The views are breathtaking (I am a lighthouse fanatic). My husband and I spent countless hours out on the balcony, watching the sunrise or watching a storm come in off the water. The owners also have a flair for decorating, so when you walk into this condo, you will feel like you have walked into a model unit. It is kept immaculately clean, and no detail was spared, from the linens to the selection of books and movies at your disposal. We couldn't have been happier with our vacation here!!! If you are in the market to rent a unit in New Smyrna Beach, then look no further.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Being on the ninth floor does give you wonderful ocean/inlet/lighthouse views. It is nice to have the ground level parking garage elevators to carry groceries or other purchases straight from the car to the condo, without ever getting wet, should it rain at all during your stay.

About the owner: My husband (Barry) and I, along with another couple (Ken & Jenny), purchased this condo even before construction started on the Karpathos building. We owners live in North Orlando and fell in love with the Minorca condominium which has water on three sides of the complex. We wanted the top floor (penthouse) and were fortunate to choose everything from cabinetry to flooring.
Why the Owner Chose Minorca:
We chose this location because of the newness of the condominium and the sheer beauty of the land/ocean where the complex is situated. It has the feel of a five star gated resort community with fabulous ocean and intercoastal views and garage parking.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We can see the boats come in from the Atlantic Ocean through Ponce Inlet and head to the intercoastal. Also we can watch the surfers as the waves are best here at the Inlet in New Smyrna Beach. The amenities at Minorca are awesome. We have two pools available to us, tennis courts, a picnic pavillion, boat docks, a great clubhouse, workout room and saunas.
