You will love this house. Wake up to a gorgeous ocean view. Take relaxing walks by the beach. The house is walking distance to the beach, walking trails, a wonderful French Bakery, Trader Joe's, and other wonderful restaurants. The house was previously owned and remodeled by a Monterey Bay Aquarium reknowned architect.
Escape to a relaxing retreat furnished with cushy leather furniture, Tiffany lighting, warm wood furnishings, fine art, hardwood floors and open beams, outdoor large stone fireplace, all in a vibrant 3-bedroom, 2-bath, 2000 square foot, Pacific Grove home away from home! 1 Queen and 2 Full Sized Luxury Beds with down comforters and pillows. For larger groups I do have two queen sized aero beds (top of the line and blow up in minutes) that fit comfortably in the ocean view entertainment room with home theater and roof top ocean view deck. The ET room also has its own bathroom with heated floors. Numerous windows look out into the treetops and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. The intimate yard with fountains, native grasses, and ornamental plants enclose the patio with Adirondack chairs.
A roof top deck with teak furniture overlooks the ocean for a wonderful setting for afternoon cocktails/romantic dinner. Settle into the inviting living room with over 700 CDs and DVD movies or bring your own to use on the fabulous music system provided. Enjoy a warm fire in the fireplace, play the beautiful grand piano located in the living room, or take a walk up the glass block-encircled staircase to entertain your guests in the spacious entertainment room that includes TV with TIVO, DVD , VCR , Stereo , CD , wireless internet access, and a view of the ocean!
The high-end, gourmet kitchen is equipped with more dinnerware, crystal glassware, cutlery (Wusthof knives), and copper cookware than you could possibly use, and features stainless steel appliances including microwave, brand new Maytag STEAM dishwasher, corian countertop, solid cherry wood cabinetry, full-sized refrigerator/freezer, and Viking range with gas oven (4 burners with large grill). The endless cookbook collection will inspire your inner chef!
The home is fully furnished and equipped with cookware, dinnerware, and kitchen linen. The home is beautifully lit with high end lighting in the kitchen, hallways, bathrooms, and over artwork. Beds have mattress pads, beautiful linens, down pillows and pillow cases, blankets and bed spreads or down comforters. There are several sets of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
The back deck area includes a new stunning natural stone wall with seating area and large stone fireplace and amazing outdoor lighting (7 different lighting sytems all on dimmers to create the perfect setting). The hand carved french doors that lead into the back deck were purchased from an old Pebble Beach mansion located next to the famous "Lone Cypress Tree". It is a great place to have an outdoor dinner party or cocktail party or just enjoy a beverage by the fire. It's gorgeous.
There is a conveniently located enclosed patio for your pets to safely play. The house also has a sizeable doggy door for pet access. Just down the street is a wonderful dog walk called the "Congress Avenue Dog Walk" where locals bring their dogs for afternoon walks. A true delight for dog lovers.
April and May are wonderful months to be in Pacific Grove. Beautiful sunny weather. It's the true summer time of Pacific Grove. November ,December and January is a great time to visit this area. Great wave activity by the ocean and clear crisp weather for great beach walks along Pacific Grove/Monterey Bay.

$300 per night during non-peak times (summertime $350 per nt), $150 Cleaning Fee
$200 refundable security deposit plus 10% PG Rental Tax
Full payment due 30 days prior to stay (includes security deposit, cleaning fee)
Pets allowed at owners discretion - $50 pet fee
60 day cancellation policy - full refund less 20% for administrative fees
Non-refundable if within 30 days of stay

We go to the area once a year and this is the neatest place we've stayed in. The house is very interesting in its layout and good for a group. The one side of the house is completely separate so I was able to go there in the mornings and work without disturbing anyone else. We cook. The kitchen is very well outfitted. The place is really comfortable and there's a lot of care that has gone into making it a pleasant stay. Owner is responsive and easy to work with. I'm not a germ freak but I don't typically feel comfortable getting it hot tubs but this one is very clean and inviting so I made an exception. The decks are great and the view is good too. We're booking our next stay here.

Perfect location for visiting Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel area. After a busy day of shopping and touring the area it was so nice to be able to enjoy the privacy of your backyard patio, rather than a hotel room! Sipping a glass of wine in front of the gorgeous outdoor firplace as we listened to music, while our steaks were grilling on the bbq.....well, what can I say?...Perfect ending to a great day! And then lets not forget the relaxing jacuzzi that we utilized at the end of the night! The spacious entertainment room was also put to good use on Sunday, as the NFL playoff games were being viewed all day long on the big screen t.v. ! Thank you Dan for the use of your lovely home! I definately will recommend it to all my friends and family.

spent long weekend with mom, wife, daughter and son in law, plus a guest visitor and had a great time cooking together in the wonderful functional kitchen, eating together in the cozy informal dining area, playing taboo in the upstairs family room, and enjoying the relaxing sauna outside with the stars shining. Mom loved the leather sofas and my wife loved the cooking stovetop and abundant counter space. I found about six different places to read my book! All of us had a relaxing and stress free weekend that we needed thanks to Dan's artful, architecturally interesting and comfortable home away from home. thanks Dan, we'll be back.

Absolutely LOVED the back patio with the outdoor fireplace and the side yard with the jacuzzi and courtyard with the basketball hoop...very whimsical. Appreciated the amenities for making your home a place that felt like you were away from everything. The secluded set up felt like you were not in a neighborhood with homes around you at all. Really enjoyed the quiet area the home was in and the great location!! Close to everything...Pebble Beach, Monterey (Cannery Row/Aquarium), Carmel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!!

My husband and I rented this home last month (we were getting married in Pebble Beach) for 4 days and we could not have been happier with the accomadations! It was like the house was designed for us! We had 2 teenage boys and 3 teenage girls with us and the boys were able to stay upstairs in the entertainment room, designating it their "man cave," and the 3 girls shared the 2 bedrooms downstairs. My husband and I enjoyed the privacy of the master bedroom and thought it was very cool that we could see the ocean in the distance. The home was well-stocked with whatever you could need (blankets, towels, dishes, cooking utensils, etc..) and Dan was a pleasure to deal with - very accommodating! We also loved having the large spa to soak in with everyone at the end of the day! We will definitely be back! We just loved it there! Oops - one more thing! The patio is just gorgeous! We were planning on having our small wedding reception back there but things didn't work out that way. But it would have been really nhice, for anyone thinking of hosting a social occasion here.

We came from Israel and stayed for 2 nights (3 days). It was great time for the family. A relaxing place with all we need for our vacation. It was 5 minutes drive from almost any tourist point in the area. We had 100% privacy. We got a clean home with many interesting facilities to have fun. A SPA, home cinema room and more. Me, my husband and two girls (12, 17) stayed for 3 nights at this very cool and relaxing property. Unfortunately the summer "gloom" kept us from seeing the ocean, but we could hear the waves at night while sitting up on the rooftop drinking wine. The beds were comfortable and the decor is worth the stay alone. We used all the amenities, hot tub, outdoor fireplace (if you throw a few eucalyptus leaves in it makes it smell grand) and BBQ. The upstairs has a huge open seating area, which made it very cozy and comfortable. Dan shows pride of ownership at this property. We are looking forward to staying there again soon! Thanks Dan for a great time!

My husband and I rented Dan's house for the weekend of our wedding. We wanted to stay somewhere that felt like home, and we were so happy with this rental! Dan has truly put his heart and soul into this house, and we couldn't have been more comfortable during our wedding weekend. The house is meticulously decorated, has a fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous rooms, and the outside area is beautiful (the jacuzzi was a hit). The location is perfect, too...We hosted our rehearsal dinner here Saturday night, and our family and friends loved the house and had a great time. Dan is a great guy, and was so helpful answering all of our questions beforehand. I have never rented a vaction rental before, and was a little reluctant, but Dan immediately made me feel comfortable. The rate is also comparable to some upscale hotels in the area, my family paid the same rate we did for their hotel rooms! I was so sad to leave...This house truly was a home away from home, and we can't wait to plan our next vacation here!
