This home is absolutely gorgeous, very comfortable, unique, very clean, and a perfect place to vacation. The location is fantastic and close to everything. The house was much more than we ever expected. Everything you could possible want or need was there. We loved the unique layout! Enjoyed the grand piano. The kitchen is very impressive with lots of great tools and a beautiful big stove. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and patio in the evening. Unfortunately, didn't have the time to try out the jacuzzi, so we'll save that for next time. Everything about the house is well maintained and full of surprise ammenities. This was truly a very enjoyable vacation home and we will definitely be back. Dan, the owner was very helpful and informative, as well as very easy to get ahold of for answering any questions. Dan takes a lot of pride in his home and it was great dealing with him. The refundable security deposit was refunded in full, quickly. We loved staying at this house and can't wait to make a return visit!! We can't think of anything negative to say about the house and our stay, except that we could have definitely stayed much longer!! Thank you, Dan for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home.

A Perfect Get Away Spot with Good Friends

We've just returned from a fabulous 4 day get-away to Pacific Grove and found this vacation home to be a perfect retreat! It is all it says it is and then some (!), plus Dan was extremely helpful and responsive which made the planning from afar easy. We were traveling as 3 couples = 6 close friends, and were totally thrilled by the house's wonderful indoor and outdoor environments -- enjoyed for reading, lively conversation and many great meals cooked together. We thoroughly enjoyed the Monterrey Aquarium, Pacific Grove self guided historic walking tour and Farmer's Market, and hiking at Point Lobos, along with daily jaunts to the sea. It was always great to return to the house to soak in the jacuzzi and enjoy garden views as we sipped some good wine. All 6 of us are avid travelers and all 6 would highly recommend the rental of this vacation home. It's a colorful, welcoming, comfortable,clean, quirky and truly beautiful vacation home rental!!! It's a GEM!

This house is super cool! My family and I stayed here for 1 night and were like kids in a candy store with all the amenities. We really wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy them all. The house was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was great to cook in. Good location, very close to the downtown and a Trader Joe's nearby, Dan was a pleasure and I really appreciated the detailed information package I received to access and utilize the house. Would 100% stay again!

Perfect location for visiting Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel area. After a busy day of shopping and touring the area it was so nice to be able to enjoy the privacy of your backyard patio, rather than a hotel room! Sipping a glass of wine in front of the gorgeous outdoor firplace as we listened to music, while our steaks were grilling on the bbq.....well, what can I say?...Perfect ending to a great day! And then lets not forget the relaxing jacuzzi that we utilized at the end of the night! The spacious entertainment room was also put to good use on Sunday, as the NFL playoff games were being viewed all day long on the big screen t.v. ! Thank you Dan for the use of your lovely home! I definately will recommend it to all my friends and family.

spent long weekend with mom, wife, daughter and son in law, plus a guest visitor and had a great time cooking together in the wonderful functional kitchen, eating together in the cozy informal dining area, playing taboo in the upstairs family room, and enjoying the relaxing sauna outside with the stars shining. Mom loved the leather sofas and my wife loved the cooking stovetop and abundant counter space. I found about six different places to read my book! All of us had a relaxing and stress free weekend that we needed thanks to Dan's artful, architecturally interesting and comfortable home away from home. thanks Dan, we'll be back.

Absolutely LOVED the back patio with the outdoor fireplace and the side yard with the jacuzzi and courtyard with the basketball hoop...very whimsical. Appreciated the amenities for making your home a place that felt like you were away from everything. The secluded set up felt like you were not in a neighborhood with homes around you at all. Really enjoyed the quiet area the home was in and the great location!! Close to everything...Pebble Beach, Monterey (Cannery Row/Aquarium), Carmel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!!

We go to the area once a year and this is the neatest place we've stayed in. The house is very interesting in its layout and good for a group. The one side of the house is completely separate so I was able to go there in the mornings and work without disturbing anyone else. We cook. The kitchen is very well outfitted. The place is really comfortable and there's a lot of care that has gone into making it a pleasant stay. Owner is responsive and easy to work with. I'm not a germ freak but I don't typically feel comfortable getting it hot tubs but this one is very clean and inviting so I made an exception. The decks are great and the view is good too. We're booking our next stay here.

We came from Israel and stayed for 2 nights (3 days). It was great time for the family. A relaxing place with all we need for our vacation. It was 5 minutes drive from almost any tourist point in the area. We had 100% privacy. We got a clean home with many interesting facilities to have fun. A SPA, home cinema room and more. My husband and I rented this home last month (we were getting married in Pebble Beach) for 4 days and we could not have been happier with the accomadations! It was like the house was designed for us! We had 2 teenage boys and 3 teenage girls with us and the boys were able to stay upstairs in the entertainment room, designating it their "man cave," and the 3 girls shared the 2 bedrooms downstairs. My husband and I enjoyed the privacy of the master bedroom and thought it was very cool that we could see the ocean in the distance. The home was well-stocked with whatever you could need (blankets, towels, dishes, cooking utensils, etc..) and Dan was a pleasure to deal with - very accommodating! We also loved having the large spa to soak in with everyone at the end of the day! We will definitely be back! We just loved it there! Oops - one more thing! The patio is just gorgeous! We were planning on having our small wedding reception back there but things didn't work out that way. But it would have been really nhice, for anyone thinking of hosting a social occasion here.

Me, my husband and two girls (12, 17) stayed for 3 nights at this very cool and relaxing property. Unfortunately the summer "gloom" kept us from seeing the ocean, but we could hear the waves at night while sitting up on the rooftop drinking wine. The beds were comfortable and the decor is worth the stay alone. We used all the amenities, hot tub, outdoor fireplace (if you throw a few eucalyptus leaves in it makes it smell grand) and BBQ. The upstairs has a huge open seating area, which made it very cozy and comfortable. Dan shows pride of ownership at this property. We are looking forward to staying there again soon! Thanks Dan for a great time!

My husband and I rented Dan's house for the weekend of our wedding. We wanted to stay somewhere that felt like home, and we were so happy with this rental! Dan has truly put his heart and soul into this house, and we couldn't have been more comfortable during our wedding weekend. The house is meticulously decorated, has a fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous rooms, and the outside area is beautiful (the jacuzzi was a hit). The location is perfect, too...We hosted our rehearsal dinner here Saturday night, and our family and friends loved the house and had a great time. Dan is a great guy, and was so helpful answering all of our questions beforehand. I have never rented a vaction rental before, and was a little reluctant, but Dan immediately made me feel comfortable. The rate is also comparable to some upscale hotels in the area, my family paid the same rate we did for their hotel rooms! I was so sad to leave...This house truly was a home away from home, and we can't wait to plan our next vacation here!

I highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The house is very fun & tastefully decorated. Kitchen is completely equipped even for the most discerning cook. The sound system is fantastic, we docked our i-pod and enjoyed our music, as well as Dan's wonderful musical selections. The hot tub is absolutely amazing! You will never want to leave!! Neighborhood was quiet and the house was perfectly located near restaurants, stores and the beach! This house provided us with the perfect getaway and we hope to re-visit it someday.

My family and I stayed here for my daughter's Lover's Point Beach (Monterey) wedding. I baked the cake, and I absolutely loved the professional range and oven! The kids enjoyed the hot tub, and the patio area with the fireplace was perfect for the rehearsal party. The house was fun - lots to explore, and tons of movies, CD's and books. Dan was so nice, and got back to me right away to answer my questions. We even saw deer walking by in front of the house on a couple mornings. The seat in the front window was a perfect place to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning (and watch the deer)! Thanks, Dan, we had a wonderful time!

Wonderful house, wonderful location. Plenty of room for everyone in this unique home. Beautifully decorated--most rentals get the hand-me-down furniture, but not this one! We caught up on some DVDs we'd been meaning to watch on the HUGE TV. Everyone loved the hottub--how cool was it to sit in there, with a light rain falling?! My daughter adored playing the piano. The property is private and so QUIET, yet close to everything. Dan is professional and very responsive. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay forever!!

We had an amazing vacation in the Monterey area. This home is full of wood, leather and high-end amenities. The hugh spa and outdoor fireplace court were perfect for social gatherings in the evening. This house has lots of fun spaces to discover! Our favorites were the spacious, comfortable, colorful hot tub and the sheltered courtyard with a huge fireplace, where we enjoyed making s'mores! The kitchen is well equipped with cooking gear and a great refrigerator. The separation of the entertainment room and one bathroom from the other bedrooms and bathroom worked well for us, as we had an early rising 18 month old and a sleep in 30's couple, so the latter took the entertainment room and bath to sleep in (sharing it graciously when we wanted to watch the large screen TV) and the family took the open sided upper bedroom and the lower sitting room for the little one. We grandparents enjoyed the one bedroom with a full closet and drapes, as we are light sensitive sleepers! The location is great: quiet neighborhood that is very close to the ocean and to the Inn at Spanish Bay, where we enjoyed drinks at sundown and listening to the bagpiper!Highly recommended!

WOW... no words. There were even things in this home owner does not list. (massage chair). I really enjoyed the view, the location, and ammenities. no negative comments from here. Everything you need is here. Just bring your clothes. Jacuzzi was absoulutly wonderful.

We had a delightful stay at this home. It is tucked away on a quiet street in serene Pacific Grove, yet within minutes of the beach and tourist attractions. It is well furnished, with a great ocean view. The piano and the jacuzzi were put to good use. Dan, the owner, was easy to work with, and consistently available for assistance and restaurant suggestions. I offer my highest recommendation.
