Welcome to our house in Ajijic. If you're a snowbird from the far North trying to get some warmth and rejuvination, or you're trying to escape from the blistering heat of USA south and enjoy a pleasant summer and fall, I hope you will enjoy our home and your stay in Ajijic, Mexico. You have chosen to visit a wonderful place where the weather is temperate most of the time. The days are warm and bright and the nights are cool and breezy. Its not touristy or overrun with screaming kids or people that you probably wont see again. The area, commonly referred to as Lake Chapala , or Lakeside, is home to over 30,000 expatriats that live here and blend in with the Mexican population and try to experience some of the culture. If you love to dance ( as we do ) you'll find places to get your fill 7 days a week. If you like going to the theater, check out what's on at the little theater in town, or visit the Lake Chapala Society in town for information for what's happening on the cultural scene. Amidst the narrow cobbled streets of Ajijic and Lake Chapala you'll find quaint boutiques, vibrant restaurants and cafes, and a host of artsy galleries and art workshops. Go check these places out. Don't miss visiting the Mallecon in Lake Chapala and its waterfront development, nor should you miss the shops and boutiques of Guadalajara ( Specially Tonala ). Play tennis, Racquet Ball, or even go golfing on the facilities around town. If you have time take in the hot springs just west of Ajijic on the way to Jacotopec. I hope that your stay in the area is filled with great experiences and that you will come back to the area again. Our house is simple yet hopefully comfortable. Please take a moment at the end of your stay to write your comments in our guestbook online. We wish you a Wonderful Holiday. You can always call us directly on our Vonage Phone from the house if you require any assistance. The phone number is in the house. Best Wishes - Denzal & Patricia -
