We recently had a guys weekend at the "Moose Cabin" and had an amazing time. I was scrambling for a place last minute in either the Lakes Region or White Mountains and luckily stumbled upon Melinda and Michael's cabins in Twin Mountain. Securing the place could not have been easier. Melinda was quick to respond to my emails and answer any questions I had. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised. Clean, new, spacious, and had everything we could have possibly wanted; from the fully applianced/supplied kitchen to the WiFi and cable. Mornings were spent enjoying the view from the porch; evenings were spent around the firepit enjoying (often hysterical) conversation and some cold beverages. We also made great use of the gas grill, ladder ball, and ping pong table. I would highly recommend staying here to anybody. We certainly plan on visiting again! Thanks again for everything Melinda (including the late checkout!) BrianDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful log cabin. The interior was clean and spacious - perfect for a 5 person family. The location is great - we visited Franconia Notch, took the tram up Cannon Mtn and shopped in North Conway. The porch, complete with bbq and the view of the mountains was amazing. We huddled from Hurricane Irene here and couldn't have been more comfortable - not only a nice flat screen tv, but internet access and a ping pong table too!! We can't say enough good things and we highly recommend this cabin.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

This log home is just beautiful! We fell in love with it as soon as we saw it! It has all the amenities of home that you need, including internet access, which is important in this day and age! The home was very clean as well! We were happy at the added extras in the home, like board games, lawn games, a ping pong table and keyboard downstairs. Our favorite spot was the gorgeous porch overlooking the mountains. Seriously, my husband and I could have spent the entire vacation right there! We loved being able to eat outside at the patio table, and it was very convenient having a coffee shop not two minutes down the road. The home is located not too far from a lot of attractions as well, which is great if you have kids. Overall, we were thrilled with our vacation here and hope to return some day! Thank you to Mike and Melinda for sharing your beautiful home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. The porch is our favorite spot too. Please come back again soon!

The listing for this cabin did not do it justice. It is even nicer in person. It has all the amenities of home in a beautiful setting. Everything you need, from cookware to board games to crib, you can find this in the cabin. Melinda (the owner) is a pleasure to communicate with. She provides prompt responses to emails and does everything possible to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one. If you are looking to sightsee in the White Mountains, this is the place to stay. The cabin is conveniently located to all the White Mountain attractions, including dozens of trailheads for hikers. I would definitely recommend this cabin. So much so that we plan to return in the fall.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Kelly & John, your home is beautiful! The fact that we had everything @ our fingertips was great. The cabin was off the beaten path which made it so quiet. We were busy, but had it rained, we would have been just as happy to stay in and play some of the board games. My husband and I loved the loft. It was my own little "piece of paradise" where I could slip away and do a crossword puzzle or watch a movie classic. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay again! Thank youRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We spent a week here having a small family reunion. It's a very nice cottage - clean, very comfortable, and very quiet. Hardly any traffic on the street, a nice view from the large porch; beautiful scenery in the area. Kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were made before we arrived - everything was perfect. There is NO cellphone service in or around the house - we had to drive up the main road for a couple of miles where we found good reception. Or, bring a calling card if you need phone Usually thats not a problem for us, but something came up that required us to keep in touch back home several times. But, we were also able to use email with our laptop - there's wifi in the house! The owner was easy to contact, and the deposit check was returned to us promptly. All in all, a place we want to come back to.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

The four of us stayed at this gorgeous cabin and couldnt have been happier. It was so NEW, and clean, and spacious and peaceful. Much more than we ever expected, with a lovely well equiped kitchen with that huge deck and grill. We did not want to leave. It was like a 4 star resort! :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: So happy to hear that you had a wonderful time. We try to make sure the house has all that you need so you can spend most of your time relaxing and enjoying your vacation. We hope that when you think of staying in NH again, the first thing you'll think of is staying here at your home away from home. Thanks again and we hope you'll be visiting us again soon.

A group of us stayed over for the New year's long weekend; we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Our arrival was easy even afer a good snow storm...streets and driveway were plowed, stairs and deck were shoveled. The cabin itself had PLENTY of room; was extremely clean and very private. We skied a couple of days at Bretton Woods which is only 5-10 minutes door to door. We hope to come back soon. Thanks Kelly for the fantastic place!Owner response: We like nothing better than to keep hearing the same sentiment echo throughout everyones reviews and that is the fact that they find the house clean and have a great stay while you're here. We'd love to have you back and hope to see you soon!
