We are located within close proximity to numerous Ski Resorts, including Squaw Valley, Alpine, Northstar, Homewood, Donner, Boreal, Sugar Bowl, Soda Springs, Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak. Fabulous townhome, even better than described and pictured! We loved the location, with a quick walk to the lake, restaurants, or a hike through the surrounding pine forest The townhome is very comfortable, and extremely well stocked. We especially loved sitting on one of the two decks in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea and just enjoying the view- so peaceful. The loft is great for older children and teenagers, a space all their own. The rec center is a short walk fron the unit, and very well maintained, also a great place for kids and families. It was a wonderful place to spend six nights, and it was very hard to pack up and go home. The owner is very pleasant to work with, and very prompt in returning email and phone calls. We would DEFINITELY return to this townhome!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This townhouse is absolutely beautiful. The furnishings are all 5 star. The owners had the home fully stocked. We hardly had to buy anything. It felt like our home away from home. The owners of this property couldn't have been nicer. They are so accomodating. The lake views are just beautiful. It was so nice to see the boats, water skiers, jet skis, and the parasails. Next year we plan on going back because it was such a nice rental. We couldn't get over how quiet it is. The pool was just awesome. It was never crowded. Everyone working at the complex were so nice and helpful. The other guests were all just as nice and courteous. The entire complex is spotless. They really maintain the property nicely. There is so much to do in Carnelian Bay and its so close to Tahoe City, Kings Beach, and the West shore. Shopping is very convenient and there are so many great restaurants close by. We highly recommend this unit. We plan on going back next year. Thank you so much to the owners for making it such a nice vacation for us.

Aug 2008; One of the best equipped rentals we have ever stayed at. Super convenient location (walked to Boat Show). Bedrooms are large and comfy even the loft area is great. Kitchen setup was excellent and the pool/jacuzzi area was really nice. This place was set up like a home not a rental, highly recommend staying here. We will be back.
