Welcome to Boulder, Colorado...everything you want from a big city, yet it feels like a small town; world-class restaurants and shops, a major university, an abundance of cultural events, a plethora of year-round outdoor activities and lots of music from around the globe.
Minutes from downtown Boulder, our artist’s home is located within a quiet, historic residential district known as Mapleton Hill. "Susurro" - our sunny and light garden/walk-out apartment has a separate entrance and is part of our recently eco-remodeled home originally built in 1910. Our 800 sq. ft. apartment is colorful, eclectically furnished, with hot water baseboard heating, all domestic water filtered, cork floors, lots of light, antique cooking stove, custom trim, open layout - living room/dining room/kitchen, hand painted floor, and mosaic tiled bathroom floor. Our home is a “come and borrow a cup of organic sugar” kind of home.
"Susurro" is two blocks away from the foothills of the Rockies with great hiking trails, and the continental divide only a thirty-minute drive away. We are a 30 minute drive to Denver; 30 minute drive to Eldora Ski Resort, 45 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, and 1.5-2.25 hour drive to Loveland, Winter Park, Breckenridge and Vail ski areas.
Boulder has year-round sunshine. The winter season usually brings brief snow storms followed by beautiful sunny days. It's not uncommon to have warm weather in the high 60s-70s in February and March. Late spring and summer offers warm days, wonderful thunderstorms and few airborne pests. Falls are warm with cool nights and some of the most amazing displays of light and color.
Well behaved dogs are welcome with an additional deposit.

Cell phone coverage is now excellent within Susurro for all cell phone providers except Nextel. This improvement occurred effective November 2009. Internet access is by direct connection (CAT5e ethernet cables supplied) to high speed DSL available in both bedrooms, kitchen and the living room. There is occaisional WiFi access based on my neighbors systems - but again internet access is guaranteed via ethernet cable connections.
