The furnishings in 704 have been selected to offer an upgrade from the standard "condo package" you may have experienced in your previous rentals. Within the unit your accommodations include a king sized bed, 2 queen beds in the guest room as well as a queen sleeper in the living room; all beds have Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses. With 10 foot floor to ceiling glass in every room you will enjoy spectacular Gulf of Mexico views and more than 1150 square feet of living space. All entrance doors to the condominium are interior, so you'll never have to fight the elements to bring in groceries or shopping bags. There is covered parking to protect your vehicle from the weather and there is a separate entrance into the 2nd bedroom of the unit. Hi my name is Gina and I have really enjoyed being a homeowner at Surfside Resort, so much so that I was recently married on the beach in front of the building. I have owned many condos in Destin over the last 20 years and I find that Surfside offers the most desireable ammenities of any complex on the Emerald Coast.
My husband Charlie and I have a new puppy named Tony and we really look forward to going to Destin each year for the beautiful weather, the unbelievable dining and the overall relaxed lifestyle the area affords. Each time I am there I improve the condo with the help of my two best girlfriends who are in interior design. I often throw a big dinner party, hence all the cooking supplies in the kitchen. I hope you enjoy all the extras included to provide you with the ultimate vacation experience. We're a bunch of 40-something chicks that like to get together each spring to relax, laugh and chat on the beach. This year we got to get up early to watch the Royal Wedding. Gina's condo was the perfect spot for us. The condo is inviting with fantastic new carpet, beautiful furnishings and fabulous decor. Gina is a great owner by being accommodating to our needs and communicating quickly when we had questions. The location is central to the restaurants and the beach. Our weather was perfect and we enjoyed having the beach service each day. All of the chicks in our group believe this condo is the place to bring their families back to visit Destin. Best pizza - Jordano's. Best donuts - Krispy Kreme. Best spot on the beach - Miramar Beach.

Our stay in Gina's condo was wonderful. Gina was very accomodating when we arrived early and made sure the condo was cleaned for our stay. The resort is located in a great area, about a mile from the outlet mall, and a short drive from wonderful seafood places. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the restaurant at the condo, there are far better if you go out. We made some wonderful new friends who have been to Destin before, and recommended some great places to eat - The Back Porch and Old Bay Steamers were our favorites!

We are repeat customers and Gina has always gone out of her way to make sure everything is perfect for our visit. We love being able to sit on the balcony and watch all the beach activity - we even watched a wedding during our last visit! The condo is well stocked with anything you will need for your vacation and very well maintained. If you want modern comforts at a reasonable price, this is definitely the place for you!

There are other condos in the area that are newer but the trade off is a long walk to the beach, a dangerous sprint across old 98 and crowded public access beach that spills into your ability to enjoy the ocean. Surfside has deeded beach access, private frontage and a beach walkover. This condo has been remodeled and upgraded and is the best deal on the beach for my family, plus the owner is so attentive to the needs of the renter. We have referred other friends and we will definitely be back next year.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
