If you are looking for privacy and a sense of seclusion along with tennis courts and a pool, this one is for you. This beautiful Hawaiian-style condo is located on the side of a wooded canyon with friut trees, tropical hardwoods, and a variety of tropical birds.
As you walk into the front door on the upper level your eyes are drawn through the living room and beyond the sliding glass doors to a balcony in the tops of the trees. Downstairs each of the two bedrooms also have sliding glass doors leading to covered balconies surrounded by trees. Both balconies offer a sense of seclusion and are just perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails.
The upstairs bedroom has its own bath and a private porch with a gas grill, large table and plenty of chairs, perfect for outdoor dining.
The tennis court and swimming pool are surrounded by a large lawn, great for all kinds of games.
It is ideally located half way between two beautiful beach parks in a friendly rural town, and within walking distance of a spectacular 9-hole golf course. A unique assortment of shops, restaurants, serevices and churches are nearby.

Great location within easy drive of many beaches, and easy to get to town(s). Enough space so that vacation with the in-laws for 11 days was still fun. Try running up the hill into kalaheo for a nice short run in the mornings.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

I recently stayed here October 22-29 2011. I was amazed at the beauty of the area. The condo was very clean and fully stocked with everything you needed. You do need to rent a car to get places. The owner is very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. I would highly reccommend this place to others wanting to come to Kaua'i There is alot of constuction in the morning but the views are so pretty you dont mind having to wait. I found everyone in the area to be very friendly. The best burger place to go to hands down is Bubba's Burgers. .
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Four of us stayed here for three weeks in late July/early August 2011 while on island for work. The location is wonderful (quiet and cool at night), the layout is very nice with extra privacy for those staying on the lower floor, and there is great privacy from balconies. Would highly recommend it and hope to stay there again next year.

My wife and I stayed here for one week in late June. The description of this condo is fair and the photos are accurate. We found the property to be clean and well-maintained. All the appliances worked well and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, pots, and pans. Having a washer and dryer was very handy. The condo is located in Kalaheo which tourists drive through unconsciously on their way to Waimea. The Kalaheo Cafe is in "downtown" Kalaheo and is tasty and nutritious, and the music shop is probably the best place in Hawaii to buy a ukelele. The golf course mentioned in the description seemed abandoned and uninteresting. We really enjoyed the privacy and the quiet lush surroundings and the fresh ocean breezes and the affordability and the many fruit birds. Note that this condo is not located within walking distance to a beach. There's no place really to walk. The closest healthy market is Living Foods not in Kalaheo but near Poipu Beach or catch a farmer's market. Traffic coming back from the north shore can be brutal (up to 2 hours!), so plan accordingly, ie, avoid 5-6PM. The proprietor is very friendly.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+.
