Located on a quiet, deep-water cove, Hartwell Lake Escape has a large private dock with sun deck & swim ladder – perfect for swimming, sunning, fishing & relaxing! The covered slip is ready – just bring your boat (or rent one from the nearby marina – we’ll help you get set up!) to enjoy water skiing, tubing, fishing & sunset cruises! Two lake kayaks are provided for all guests – explore the lake, fish or relax on the water! Life jackets and water floats & toys also provided. Our prime location is very convenient to several boat ramps, marinas and I-85!
Take a break from the sun and fun of the lake to explore the area! In about an hour or less, you can be on the golf course (award-winning Cateechee Golf Club is 15 miles away!), shopping or dining in historic Hartwell, or in the mountains hiking to waterfalls, white-water rafting, river tubing, horseback riding, trout fishing – or even wine-tasting!

* The adjoining spacious fully-stocked Kitchen & Dining Area features custom cabinetry and solid surface countertops! The table and bar comfortably seat up to 12. Glass doors & floor to ceiling windows open to the covered screened Deck with a wood-burning fireplace and ceiling fan. Can't imagine a better place to enjoy your morning coffee!
* The Master Suite invites relaxation with a pillow-top queen bed, designer linens and a Jacuzzi tub with lake views! The suite also features a walk-in closet and beautiful tiled bath with stone counter tops, double sinks, and separate shower.
* Comfortable Upper Guest Room has pillow-top queen bed, designer linens and another full tiled bath.
* A full size washer & dryer, along with iron & ironing board, laundry basket & supplies can be found in the laundry room.
Lake Level Features:
* Take the staircase from the Great Room to the Den, where you will find another 42” Plasma TV, DVD player and stereo system (the kids can watch a movie here while the adults relax upstairs!). Then Den also has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa. More glass doors and floor to ceiling windows open to the lake level covered Deck great lake views, a pub table & deck seating! Catching cool breezes all day, it’s a favorite hang out!
* "Sports Bar" themed Game Room with foosball, dual basketball, LCD TV, bar and pub table – ideal after a day on the water – or just about any other time! Stocked with lots of board games, puzzles and cards, you can enjoy some friendly foosball competition, play cards with the kids or watch a baseball game!
* Colorful “Bunk Room” with two twin trundle beds sleeps a total of four – the kids love it! – includes another TV, PS2 game system + lots of games, DVD player, and a private full bath.
* Fourth Bedroom is also spacious, with beautiful lake views, another pillow-top queen bed, designer linens and a large full bath.
Dock Features:
Follow the gently sloped, lighted path about 100 yards to our peaceful deep-water cove. The lighted covered dock with a spacious sun deck and swim ladder is just waiting for you! With two kayaks provided for our guests, plus air mattresses, water floats and life jackets – you’ll want to jump right in! Very limited traffic makes the cove perfect for the kids (and adults) to swim, kayak, and fish. The sandy beach area is great for exploring and plenty of fish have been caught right from our dock! We encourage guests to bring their boat or rent one from the nearby marina!

We had a great time! The kitchen was very well-equipped and the floor plan worked great for our group. We loved the setting and had a great time walking by the lake - some of the little ones even went swimming! We mostly ate in and loved the kitchen - considering we put it to the ulitmate test of Thanksgiving dinner, it worked beautifully! We had a wonderful time and appreciate your opening up your beautiful home to our family!

Fantastic House! We had a great trip! This house has everything you need - and then some! Enough room for everyone to be very comfortable! The kayaks were great + the skiing was fun! The kids loved the play room + having 2 living rooms & such great TV's was key for everyone to enjoy the evenings! Hope to come back!

We had a great time! The dock was perfect. We took the boat out wake boarding and tubing everyday and swam and used the kayaks. The boys were also quite successful fishing! Had fun catching them! I really loved the house. I cooked every night and appreciated how well the kitchen was equipped. The house was decorated beautifully and with the wireless, I was able to do a little work each day. I could of spent the entire summer. I really liked the screen porch w/ the fireplace. We also met some of your neighbors, and everyone was very nice. We would definitely like to come back.
