This log home is a cozy well appointed get away for those in search of the good life on the west coast of Canada. The cabin is decorated with an array of West Coast Native arts/crafts as well as wonderful oil paintings depicting the beauty of the area.
It is a five minute drive away from restaurants,water activities (kayak rentals, boat rentals) as well as the local yacht club which offers juniors sailing lessons. Maple Bay is well know for it's sailing and kayaking waters. It looks across to Salt Spring Island which is a short ferry ride away. There are numerous wineries in the valley as well as farmers markets providing fresh local produce.
You will always remember coming to Maple Bay in the Cowichan Valley; a mere one hour drive from Victoria and Nanaimo which both have airports. Also two float plane companies operate out of Vancouver into Maple Bay Marina twice a day!

Our program introduces basic and advanced sailing, develops existing skills and improves confidence - all while sailing in beautiful Maple Bay. Our instructors are fully trained and certified by the Canadian Yachting Association. Why the Owner Chose Duncan
I have owned the cabin for six years. I love the peacefulness and cozy feeling the cabin offers; I thought I would share that with others. It allows one to feel they are experiencing a truly Canadian adventure. Maple Bay is a beautiful area where there is sailing,boating and rentals,kayaking lessons and rentals,diving as well as viewing otters,seals and occasionally whales.
